I cut the cord....Placed antennae in best place in the house and all app ready devices can access.

Easy to install and use. Works like a charm. Surprised me and picked up 14 local channels.

I like the TABLO; however, I wish I had gotten the QUAD instead. If you are recording a program and are watching another, then if someone in your house tries to watch, that means you can't do it, because you are having three things going on. That's the disadvantage of the two device like I purchased. Get the QUAD and you will be happy.

This DVR helped make it much easier to get along without cable.

Love my Tablo. Least expensive OTA TV dvr but I'm not disappointed EXCEPT i wish the front end sensitivity was better. It's not bad, but when the weather gets iffy so does the picture quality. That said, I'm 50+miles from the xmission towers and using an antenna mounted in the attic. If the antenna was outside sensitivity may not be an issue.

Gave up dish and needed something to record my shows: works perfectly

Needed a DVR to tape our shows so we could watch them when we wanted to. Also looking to cut the cord on cable. It met those needs.

It was a bit confusing to set up at first but once done works good. If connected directly to router works better.

This item can be difficult to get used to, with using an app or browser to watch OTA channels. Once I got my home network configured properly (many weeks of frustration), it works great. I think frequent updates and backend support are improving the quality of features as time goes on. Hopefully this company continues to improve an innovate in this space.

Great device for your TV. Especially for cord cutters

I was up and running within minutes, my Samsung TV has. Tablo app so the DVR is really easy to use

With this all TVs in house gets live air tv! Can also pause and rewind.

All of our TV use is via streaming services or OTA broadcast. We use WiFi Roku devices on each TV for streaming, and also run coax cable to each TV from an antenna in the attic for OTA. I purchased the Tablo primarily to stream live OTA programs to eliminate the need for coax cables to the TV. This would give us more flexibility in where we place the TV in the room. The recording and pause features were a bonus but not the main reason for the Tablo. I used a direct wired Ethernet connection from the Tablo to my network switch, and connected the antenna to the Tablo. It was easy to set up and stream via Wi-Fi to my phone and each Roku. I attached a USB hard drive for recording. However, the quality of the stream was not great, and buffered occasionally. I have excellent Wi-Fi, and the Roku has no problem streaming HD content from Netflix, so I believe the issue is with the Tablo or its Roku app. We also found that after pausing and resuming live TV, the picture and sound would often be out of sync. My wife tried the DVR features a couple times, but said when she watched the recording later, it ended before the program was finished. I didn't bother to investigate that further, because by that time we decided to return the unit and look for a better solution.

Very easy to setup and use. I would recommend if you are looking for an over the air DVR.

Haven’t hooked up yet but my Brother in law loves his. I look forward to getting lots of use from it.

With an external HD we store programs on many channels. Good interface.

I wanted a DVR for any OTA services. This is a great machine just wish it had a built in HDD.
