Nice intro into OTA world

Ended up using an Xbox gaming drive by seagate and it works like a charm. Really makes OTA a great experience as you can watch later. Also can record and watch at same time. Great recording/playback. WD hard drives seem to be an issue with this unit.

Still not up to speed But love what I see so far.

No User Controls

You have to exit out of the program you are watching to see the guide. It's cumbersome at best. Wish I would have read the reviews before I spent all that money on this very limited device. I have better luck with just an antenna.

Great DVR Replacement for Windows Media Center

The Tablo Duo Lite fills that role perfectly, and can record 2 shows at once using its 2 tuners.

Great tool for cutting the cable

Also can hook up a hard drive to it to record shows like a dvr. This is a great investment!

this Tablo is great.

It is a great little product. I also got the WD 1 TB HD and it performs great. I can record for days and still not fill this HD.

mixed feelings

The device will drop out of our wifi without cause and fairly often. I suspect that the issue is a solftware glitch but I can not be confident of that. When the device is properly connected and on our network I like the features and the devices capabilities.

It is very slow when switching channels. Reception for some channels, even with a very good antenna, go in and out. Streaming on a home network even on 5ghz buffers.

I plugged it into my router, and antenna and was in business after you configure your location, and also have the dvr functionality with a spare hard drive I had connected to it.

I just updated with this new version. This one allows out of home view easy once u pair the device. No need port forwarding.
