Anotehr disappointment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Taken (2006) was a great movie and provided an iconic role for Liam Neeson. The studio was quick to take advantage of its popularity by releasing a sequel- Taken 2, which I had high hopes for but it turned out to be a huge letdown. With the third movie in the franchise, I hoped the studio would redeem itself but it seems clear that both Neeson and the studio are just milking the Taken franchise for all it's worth. There is a saying.. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Well... I allowed myself to be fooled a second time by giving Taken 3 a chance, and I won't be fooled again if there is a Taken 4.
