I'm such a fan of Liam....Great action packed movie.

Not as good as the first: but it was an ok movie..

IMO, this is the best of the Taken series. But just OK.

This is a great piece of action film making, with incredible fight sequences and suspense that will have you jumping out of your seats! Liam Neeson is a natural action star, with a credible performance with some memorable lines that will leave chills down your spine. Liam plays Bryan Mills an ex-CIA operative who is trying to make up lost time with his only daughter Kim. Always at odds with his ex-wife Lenore he is tricked into letting his only child go on a trip to Europe, with a high school girlfriend. Immediately tagged the girls are kidnapped and traded in the s-e-x slave industry of Europe, giving Bryan only 3 days to save his only daughter or lose her forever. To get his daughter back he must fight his way to the Man responsible for abduction of his daughter, leading to some of the most authentic hand to hand combat scenes every filmed. The Video is encoded in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video (2.35:1) ratio. Giving the viewer a clean image, free of artifacts. The Audio is presented in DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track (48kHz/24-bit), giving the listener a true to life soundtrack which will immerse you in the surrounds. This is a first rate Blu-ray encode with superb visuals and sound, don't hesitate to check this one out! Taken is a winner!

Wow what a great movie. Keeps you at the edge of your seat

This is a great movie with a great story. I enjoy how it moves quickly and there's never a dull moment. If you like butt kicking movies, then you'll like this. The acting is solid. Liam Neeson is awesome. The acting that bothered me was the daughter. She was terrible. She was a 20 yr old playing a 16 year old. I didnt buy it and I don't think anyone else did. It was weird. Other than that, it's a great movie. See it. Buy it. Oh, one other bad thing was the video and audio goes out of sync in a couple of scenes. Not a big deal, but for $9.99 I cant complain. Best Buy shipping took almost 2 weeks from the time I ordered. Kind of ridiculous. But at least I got it.

This movie really didn't catch my eye when it was in the theaters but I eventually got around to seeing it and it turned out to be great! I had to get it the first day that it came out. The story is original and awesome and has a little bit of everything in it. Of course seeing it on Bluray is the only way to watch it, and I am very satisfied with the Bluray menus and features. This is one of those movies that you can watch over and over again. This movie is a must have and an easy choice for my Bluray collection.

4 of 5 stars for the action movie Taken and shout-out for Liam Neeson in the lead role. Neeson plays a retired spy, Maggie Grace plays Neeson's daughter. The daughter and her girlfriend leave on a trip across Europe against the better judgement of her dad (Neeson). They barely land in Paris when they are kidnapped by slave traders. With few clues, Daddy goes to Paris to recover his daughter. Simple plot idea, extremely well executed (hence my shout-out to Neeson). This is a violent and tough movie; Neeson's body count is around 50 and most with graphic and quick kills. Don't shoot at him, you'll only make him mad! Impressive how he follows from clue to clue. If you don't mind the violence and the graphic underworld plot, it is a great movie. I do recommend it and will watch it again in the future.

This is a great movie! All the actors did a great job. I was very intrigued with the fight scenes because it wasn't like throwing someone through a brick wall or something stupid like that. Armbars, takedowns and all the other hand-to-hand defensive tactics that are employed by the FBI, CIA, law enforcement and of course the military. I saw this movie in theaters with my gf on a TUESDAY and the room was filled up. Great movie and I def plan to get this on blu-ray

I was a little bit Skeptical about buying this Movie on DVD at first but I then remembered what a friend of mine said to me one day and what he said to me was see it. it might turn out to be an awesome Movie this movie had an Excellent Plot to it the Acting was Excellent and the Cinematography was Excellent I didn't think I was going to enjoy this movie but as it turns out I really enjoyed this movie it was brilliantly written it doesn't have any DVD Extras like Commentary from the Director and stuff like that but it was a good movie and I really enjoyed this movie.

Taken is an awesome action movie. Liam Neeson is great as an ex CIA agent who's daughter is kidnapped while in Paris. Neeson is awesome because he has the abilities of Jason Bourne and can take down an armed man in seconds mostly using martial arts and improvising like Bourne and he is completely unforgiving as he looks for the people who took someone he loved from him. This whole movie is filled with non-stop fight scenes and chase sequences. This movie is great for anyone who is fan of Bourne but doesn't want a very complex storyline. Awesome action movie.

A perfect combination of Lethal Weapon and a Harrison Ford film. This move was a huge attention getter and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire way through. Action packed scenes kept the movie interesting and free of slow parts. The ending of the movie was satifying and fit the movie. The cast was great and the acting was done well. Would recommend to someone looking for a fast paced action oriented movie.

Thought that this was a well written story that kept you guessing. Things happened so fast you could not predict the next scene. I highly respect Liam Neeson and he does not disappoint with this film. I got a great deal on this at Best Buy too. Paid $15 for the blu ray and also got a free ticket to see the A-team.

"Taken" is a great movie starring Liam Neeson. Though there is not much to the plot, this film is simple and it works. "Taken" is a riveting story that has you gripping to the edge of your seat wanting more. This film has great action and may not be suitable for all minors. Overall, "Taken" is awesome and I recommend anyone who hasn't seen it yet, to do so.

The only thing I can say about this movie is one word. FANTASTIC! The acting is superb(especially Neeson) and the plot leaves you gasping with the non-stop excitement. There is never a dull moment in it and the ending is great. If you purchase one movie this year, make it this one.

this is a great movie.. makes people think, realize and see what's going on in the other side of the world.. definitely one of the collections... i highly recommend this movie especially to those fathers who will do everything it takes to get his daughter back and to those daughters who only thinks about themselves and what they want... It's time for you to see WHY parents are sometimes over protective....

I am glad, I bought BlurRay player to watch this outstanding action movie, by inviting good friends to watch this movie together is just great and worth of near an hour and a half. Awesome film to watch at home for many many times. and also download the digital disc to my personal computer is just great.

After watching this movie, I instantly became a fan of Liam Neeson, and you will too. Not only is his voice one of the greatest ever, but he's a gives an incredible performance in Taken. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes suspense, action, and movies in general. Outstanding movie. I haven't been able to watch the extras yet but I'm sure they're great too!

I love Liam Nesson and he was great in this movie.What made this movie so great was the love between Father and Daughter and what he would do to protect her in anyway he knew how.It was full of action and it kept you on the edge of your seat.Can't wait to buy this DVD and watch it again.

This movie was amazing! Pure action kept me sucked in throughout the entire film. It was much better than typical action movies because it had such a unique and intelligent plot. In addition to this, I believe everyone should watch this movie because human trafficking is a huge problem in this world that most are disconcerned with. I give this movie *****!
