    nice tripod for the price

For the price, this is an excellent, fully functional tripod. It is not particularly sturdy, and could break easily, but for shooting social media videos or anything that doesn't require too much handling, it is a very functional and versatile tripod. It folds up very small and fits in a small carry case bag that is included and it is very light. Again, great for the price.

This tripod is very lightweight, easy to carry and reaches a good height. It can be adjusted with ease and got it for a great price compared to other tripods. I would caution though, as well as other reviewers to be gentle while adjusting the legs and head, as they do seem fragile. I would recommend for light use only.

This tripod was an excellent choice for recording with my digital camera. It is light weight and sturdy. The height of the tripod is adjustable, it was simple to set up and for the price I could not be happier. I should have brought 2 and had the other one for a backup.

Yes, it’s fragile, flimsy, under weight, a little weak, and feels cheap. In spite of all that, it’s EXACTLY what I was looking for. I didn’t want to empty my pockets for something to set my phone or GoPro on, and the lightweight design lets me strap it to a motorcycle no problem. If interested, just be careful.

This Tripod is pretty good for $12. When I screwed on my camera to the top portion it is slightly loose and when my husband touched it the neewer flash fell off, I’m not sure if it’s my fault for not tightening it more or if it’s just flimsy, to this day it’s still not super sturdy. Gets the job done.

This is a very lite, and I mean lite tripod! it packs up to the size of a Pringles can pretty much so that s nice. And it weighs about as much too. The only drawback I see is that it isn't the most sturdy since it is so lite.

Well, I needed a new tripod, after 4 years of heavy use my old one broke. So, I decided, I have a bit of extra cash, so I bought a new camera and tripod. So, I went with the cheapest one, because none of the others had any real differences... At least I thought that. After a week and a half, it's gotten about 4 loose parts, that I had to snap back in, and one broken part. So, it still works just fine, just if your rough with it, don't buy it, in the thought of everyday usage, and it falling down a lot. My old tripod only had a piece missing, but if I didn't attempt to fix it, then it would've been perfectly fine, for another 4 or 8 years. The plate is stupidly annoying to fix whenever you want to adjust the camera, at least in my case with a Sony point and shoot. It may be different for other people, but it's the tripod for basic people, with basic needs.

It’s a nice simple tripod. Easy to use and the case comes in handy. It is however a lil flimsy if you have a bigger camera, so I will be purchasing and more sturdy tripod

    Great portable camera tripod!

This is an excellent portable camera tripod, very light and easy to carry. When folded it fits my camera backpack just fine. Easy and quick to set up. It fits my Canon DSLR just fine. Only caution would be, because of the light construction, it may not work on a heavier camera. My DSLR works ok but (camera body and 400 zoom lens) but anything bigger would probably be too unstable/top heavy. When I was considering this purchase, the Best Buy associate assisting me set up the tripod and we tried the fit with a camera on display in the store to make sure of the fit. With that in mind it's a good purchase for a light tripod.

Very compact, light tripod for very limited use

This Tripod is cheap and performs about like it costs. It would be OK for a very light camera that will remain still for a remote shot and that’s about it. Too much slop on the mount to try and use for video, panning, etc. In fact, there is enough slop, it will take a second to get the camera level. I use two of them for radon detectors where I leave them sitting a couple of days and they work for that.

I bought this on sale and planned to use it for a family photo shoot. However, I found 2 main problems. There is a locator detent on the mount which my camera (canon) does not have and therefore it did not sit flat. Also the attachment mount did not have a tight fit so the camera was loosely attached. The tripod was very light weight and would be nice for backpacking if it fit better.

Bought this with HD video camera to record wedding reception. I have only used once and this is the first tripod I have used so of course I have nothing to compare. Was very pleased how easy it is to connect and disconnect. Met my expectations and then some.

I bought this tripod because I needed one that day and didn't really have a lot in my funds at the moment, saw this one on sale for $12 so thought I would give it a try. It isn't a bad little tripod and worked what I needed it for, just was very loose and I kept feeling like I was over tightening and just kinda felt cheapy built but all in all not bad for the price and will do what I need it for. Loved the bag it came with, was a handy feature. If you're out on a trail or want something a little bit more sturdy and hardy spend the extra $$ and pass this one up.

Looking at the tripod alone. It will get the job done and a little more. It has water balance tool which i found pretty useful. It has a pretty decent handle for panning shots. My two gripes is about using the full length and build quality. The bottom tripod legs feel like that can't handle a lot of weight, but if your're using a smartphone or regular sized dslr, it works perfectly fine. It feels cheap. That is for sure, but for practicality it surprisingly does extremely well! It comes with a carrying bag too which is a nice bonus

I thought I give this tripod a try. this tripod defines the "you get what you paid for" It was by far the worse tripod built. yes it was extremely light and extremely small when folded (which why I chose to try it out) how ever, the built quality is poor, the locking mechanism is lacking (the legs will sink if you add too much weight) so good luck using this tripod when you are using telephoto lens. the balance on this tripod is horrific. Never have I ever experience a tripod that was meant to provide stability to be nonexistence on one.

This Tripod is OK for indoor use since it is a bit flimsy side. I small, lightweight and easy to use. I use it for a small compact recorder indoors and it works just fine.

This tripod is a good one for the low price, but you do get what you pay for. As it does serve my purpose well, it's is not the most sturdy tripod I have used. It is also difficult at first to swivel the camcorder while on the tripod, which makes it difficult to achieve a smooth record. I do like the lightness of the tripod and how it will fold up easily and compactly and can be stored in the enclosed drawstring bag for easy transportation.

Product is good, esp if considered the price. Used it for Canon T5 and i was able to adjust at all heights. Never used it with mobile, but it can be used with mobile phones as well.
