This tripod is excellent if you just want to spend $15 dollars for something temporary but I would not recommend it for more than just casual use. When extending the legs too far the pieces pop out and it is overall lower build quality. It holds a camera well enough but never feels truly feels completely solid. Paying a little bit more for something more of higher quality and build would be much better, but this can definitely be used just as a starter tripod if you're not sure you're going to use it that often.

I was told that this is a flimsy piece of equipment, but the size and light weight still works for me so I'll make it work!

Used it about 3 times already, didn't pay much so I can't complain too much. Lost a screw and a nut, hard to tighten enough to make easy to move. Don't buy if you have to use it a lot.

The legs on this tripod take a bit of use to loosen up and wobble a bit on uneven ground. It works great on flat surfaces, though. For the price, it is a good beginner's tripod.

This tripod does the work. It was able to handle my canon t3i DSLR camera perfectly. The tripod head movement is a bit untrustworthy, but that's what you will get at this price. This tripod is obviously not good for professional photography. I used it only as a stand for timer portrait photos.

Cheap? Yeah. Wobbly? Only with a heavy camera

With first use I saw that it is very cheaply made. It won't stand up to daily use. However I bought this as a backup/2nd camera stand. It does what I need it to do.

I only rate it good because when i set it up, it seemed great! I did find out after setting it up that it was missing a screw which could've caused a collapse. Maybe this item was returned by someone who broke it and then was sold to me. I returned it and they gave me a different one. But this one seemed light weight, tried it only indoors maybe with heavy wind it could fall over.

Bought this Targus tripod to replace a similar compact, lightweight Slik I've had for many years. Unfortunately the Targus wasn't what I hoped for as a replacement and returned it. Back in the day the Slik was similar price. Equal product today is much more.
