Simple monopod. Does what it's expected to do. Recommend.

Solidly built. Leg seems secure and snaps solid. Have only had it for a short time, but all seems to be what I want. Not a Manfrotto, but doesn't cost like one either. "Cell phone mount" is a bit of a joke (not that I need a cell phone mount) because the only way I can see to use it is with the phone pointing up in the air or down at the ground. Probably useful for someone somewhere. No idea whether the GoPro mount works, but it seems reasonably well-made.

The monopod itself is fine, and it comes with a GoPro mount that works as it should but the Smart Phone mount is useless as it only mounts the phone in a skyward facing position. So it's great if that is how you want to use it but a major design flaw if you want the phone camera to actually point forward to take a picture of something other than the sky or ceiling while mounted on the monopod. I even brought it in to the store to see if maybe I was missing a part or doing something wrong but nope, they agreed it was a design failure. So I thought maybe they accidentally included the wrong mount and actually should have included one with the screw thread in the correct position but nope, just received the replacement from UPS and it's still wrong. So I attribute this to moronic product design by Targus.

Works great for wedding videography and I'm sure many other things.

A must have for any go pro, makes life so much easier

This gives my camera a nice base when filming sons games.

This monopod is really well built. You can just feel the quality when you hold it. Price is Right too.
