Q: Is this pole water proof? I use my gopro for under water photography.
A: This Mono pole is perfect for the go pro it is made of aluminum And will work fine Under Water. The Pole is an articulating Pole and is not water proof, however, the stabilizing foot at the base Is removeable. This will allow you to easily drain any water inside the poll as well as access to flushing out the pole. The hand grip at the top of the Pole is of a man made material and should hold up well with use in water
A: Cell phone adapter is a bit of a joke. I would only trust it to hold my Galaxy S9 flat - either facing straight up in the air or facing straight down at the ground. Not a feature, IMO.
Q: Does this have a Threaded bottom vs the top?
A: Top as a 1/4-20 thread to fit a standard camera. The bottom has a point with a surrounding foot that can be lowered around the point to protect a floor. The bottom screw on which the foot is threaded is not accessible for camera attachment.
