I was skeptical about this product, especially after another one like it melted the first time I used it. But this one is awesome! No issues at all.

Im scared one day this overpriced fan will break because the usb chord they use to plug it in to your laptop is so small and it feels like youre stretching and ruining the cables inside everytime

Since I work from home and full time, my laptop is always on. In the past I've worried about it being hot all the time, but now I rest easier knowing that it's constantly kept cool. My office area and desk are at one end of my bedroom (I have a very large bedroom) and so if I leave cooling system running at night, I can sometimes hear a low hum, but for the most part, and certainly during the day when I'm working, it's quite silent.

This cooling system works great. My laptop would heat up all the time and just turn off. Very frustrating esp. you were in the middle of something. I would then have to wait for it to cool down enough to use it again. With this chill mat it rarely gets that hot anymore. Definitely worth a little more knowing that your laptop won't shut off because it got too hot.

This item was in clearance when I got it. Is good to have different levels to adjust the mat angle. Two fans makes the product attractive since nowadays laptop always run hot. Having additional USB ports its a great plus but you might consider to buy in a power adapter to provide better USB response and faster USB hardware recognition. Maybe the fans are really running at a high speed but I feel that more speed fans would be better. Fans run quiet.

Easy set up. Adjust to the height you want. The fans are not very loud. You can feel the cool air after placing your hands underneath the computer.

Im conflicted on this purchase, if I bought it for the full price i would have been VERY dissapointed. But at the pricepoint its at, i can see the value it brings although i wish it was built differently. Im using an Asus TUF A16 for gaming. And while this cooler dropped my temps by around 3-5 degrees celcius, its not what i required. I was hoping more in the 10-20 degree range. If my requirements for cooling were not so extensive I bet this laptop cooler would work fine. I still would not give it 5 stars. The height adjustment is fininky for me and the right side hates to lock in place which makes the laptop bounce up and down when being used. However, when it does lock it is sturdy and works perfectly. But the locksfor the height are counterintuitive for me to use and just a hastle. If its used in the flat configuration i find the cooling bonus is minimal for my laptop. The fans work great and are fairly quiet, but they dont cool enough for my needs, i need a foam sealed system to help the cool air actually penetrate my laptop and not just cool the shell. The USB ports are on the back and work great. I can plug my mouse, controller, headphones, or what ever I want and they work. The stand adds about 1inch or 1.5inches to the total height, plus it now being inclined... Would i recommend this product, yes and no. If this is at the high end of your budget, sure. Just know the limitations and dont expect amazing cooling. If you have a higher budget, go and buy a foam sealed cooler for your first purchase and dont make my mistake of buying this and THEN going to what i should have the first time

We recently received a new 15" MacBook Pro from my in-laws as a gift for my wife's entering graduate school. The computer itself is amazing, but her one complaint was the fact that it tended to get pretty warm under regular work loads. If she ever had to perform any processor-intensive tasks there were times it got so hot that it became difficult to touch the casing for any significant length of time. I went searching for cooling pads online and found several which looked promising, but she wasn't impressed. So one afternoon we were driving by the Best Buy where we usually shop, and I suggested we stop by to see what they had on offer. After looking closely at several available models, we came across the Chill Mat+, and it was the plus that really sold us. One significant drawback to the MacBook Pro is its low number of USB ports, and the built-in USB hub was certainly an attractive feature. After several weeks of use, we have nothing but good things to say about this cooling pad. The ergonomic tilt is a welcome feature for long periods of typing on papers. The additional USB ports are easily accessible but still kept out of the way. Most importantly, the casing no longer gets too hot no matter how intensive the demands on the processor are. In fact, it hardly even gets warm. On top of everything else, the fans are whisper quiet. You'll never even notice them. I can't recommend this product enough.

Surprisingly does cool the underside of the laptop. Doesn't seem to have much effect on the top side though where the keyboard is. It's not too loud. Just a basic ambient fan noise. Connects directly into the laptop and has multiple USB ports directly on the unit if needed.

I don't think the fans are noisy. I have been using this mat for the last weeks and everything is okay. My MacBook Air (crap without a fan system) is cooling very well.

I was hoping for a little bit more airflow but it absolutely is meeting my cooling needs for my ROG laptop. It's light and the right size so its easy to travel with and use when I'm on the road.

Works well with my gaming laptop. The fans are cutting out and it was cheaper for me to use this until i am able to get it fixed properly. Definitely hells me game better and not worry. Easy to install and works well with my computer. Definitely worth the price and the purchase.
