This lock with the coiled cable is compact when not in use. It is also easy to use.

Bought this as a 2nd one as the first one went to my oldest son for college. This one is for my laptop, use for my college time and to secure it in my truck when I leave it. In today's times every precaution I can take to keep electronics safe I employ!

The laptop cable lock is easier to carry as it has a coiled cable versus the older models with the long steel cables. I carry it easily in my laptop bag and can attach it almost anywhere.

Being the only product of its kind on BestBuy isle I had to buy it. (I wish there could be more choices available at BB.) But I would say this is a nice product to help with your security needs. Coiled cable is a plus to carry it easily in a backpack.

It does what is supposed to do. So I can’t have any complaints. It’s one of the best on the market. I’ve had a few in the past, but barely used them. I think the are good for the library or a similar environment, where you only need to go away from your laptop for a few minutes. If you have other uses for it, you can see, cord and decide if it fits you use.

The best buy sales girl recommended this lock for my College student. It seemed like a good idea and good price. However it doesn't fit in the Mac book Air I bought it for. I would ask the sales person to demonstrate any locks before you buy. It does fit the Mac Book Pro I have but again that laptop is about 7 years old and does not require a lock.

The only thing to have in mind is that it's not the most secure you can by. Good for places that doesn´t require too much secure level
