I purchased the remote to use with my MacPro. I thought I'd purchase a different brand but the Targus unit was what was in stock at my particular Best Buy location; it works very well and I'm pleased with my purchase. The built-in pointer is also a plus!

Simple to use, works on both a pc and Apple computer. Laser pointer is very accessible without changing your hand positioning.

Haven't actually used this to make a presentation. But it was easy to setup and seems to work just fine. Would buy it again.

This little presentation remote works perfectly. It is small in size but really gets the job done well.

I bought this for a PowerPoint presentation where I used a PC but I own a Mac to practice at home. No setting up required and very simple to use. You have to open the back (where the USB holder is stored) and it actually sliced my finger pretty good since it can be a bit difficult to open. After you get the cover open you can change the setting to Mac PPT or Keynote or to PC PPT. Also, I had trouble turning it off at one point. Not sure if there is a flaw in the button connection. Overall, I recommend this laser remote.

Having had trouble with the remote provided at presentations from time to time, I decided to purchase my own. Sometimes it's a battery, sometime it can't be found, whatever,. There was more security in having my own. Targus is a name I recognize, the price was in my range, so I bought my own. I've used it twice without any issues. It seems durable, has all the necessary functions and have been no compatibility issues. I couldn't expect anything else.

Set up is easy, good remote range, ideal for when the presenter is away from his laptop. Laser pointer is a plus.

I use this remote every Sunday for sermon powerpoint. It has great range and does everything I need. Quick and easy set up and use.

Seems to work pretty good. I purchased this for my wife to use at work and she hasn't had any complaints about it. I do think that a more textured finish would have been preferable on a product like this.
