The only reason this didn't get a 5 star review was because there is no ability to change the color of the backlit keys. That being said, you can make the light brighter or dimmer, so if you're ok with one color, this is the case for you. It does make your iPad Air a bit heavier than a normal case, but it also gives it the feel of a laptop. I've had cordless keyboards in the past, and while they're cool, it's great having everything together. One other negative is that it will sometimes swivel a bit when closed, but it's nothing insurmountable, just slide it back a bit. Also love that it is a true smart case. It will turn off when closed, and turn on when opened. One big wish is that it came in different colors, however, it's a smooth texture, so you can add a sticker or two to kick it up a notch. I made mine a bit more awesome (see attached picture). If you can catch this on sale like I did, run, don't walk to the nearest store and buy it. You won't be sorry!

I've been using it for about a month now and I'm very happy with it. It's a little heavy and bulky, but it protects my iPad Air very well which is already a little bent after 2 years of use and a couple of accidents. I use to carry Apple's "official" case but it's not as good as this one. The keyboard is awesome and I love the back-light.

I can safely say that the cover does it's job in protecting the ipad and providing a bluetooth keyboard for it. They keys are nicely spaced and not too soft when pressing them. The only reason why I didn't give it the extra star is because of the weight it adds to the tablet, due mostly to the extra battery pack it has that can also add power to your ipad or anything that can be charged with a USB cable such as a phone.

I caught this on a good sale when I wasn't expecting to purchase one. However it has greatly exceeded my expectations. The keys actually work hand and hand with the iPad versus being there for no use to a tablet. You can actually use the keyboard to charge another device, and once all the power to charge your other device is maxed it still holds enough power to be able to use the keyboard with your iPad. Shortcut keys are very easy to use and are great functions. Backlit keyboard helps in dim areas. Not to heavy but still gives good protection to your iPad. Very versitile use it as a keyboard, stand, case, it just simply multiple viewing angles.

I was looking for a lighted keyboard/case and found this one. I was not looking for a case that let me have different viewing angles, but this one has Typing Mode, Reading Mode, and Viewing Stand Mode, and they have come in very handy. The case is a little heavier than I expected., but hasn't posed too much of a problem The only problem that is taking getting used to is, I like to hold the iPad in my lap while typing. Because the extra space is between the top row of keys and the iPad, there's not much to hold onto between the bottom row of keys and the edge. Which, with the added weight, makes it difficult to hang onto while holding it in my lap to type. I now make sure to sit on the couch instead of a chair, if I'm not at a table, when typing with it so it doesn't slip off my lap. I would have given it a 5 star rating if it had more space at the bottom to make it easier to hang onto while in my lap. I have recommended it to a couple of people who liked the look and feel of it. I recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable lighted keyboard/case. Just wish there was more space between the bottom row and the edge.

Absolutely love this case and keyboard. Case is well designed and functional; keyboard is incredibly convenient when needed. One small concern, not with this product, but with keyboard cases in general is that they add significant weight to your IPad. It will take getting used to.

Has many great features, most notably versatile positions, secure/tight hold on ipad, and backlit keys option. I like the idea of being able to charge from the case, but I have yet to need it, and it adds significant weight to the device. Biggest disappointment is the length of time it takes for the ipad and keyboard to realize I want to type from the keyboard, and not on the ipad. To be fair, it could be that I haven't figured out how to make the ipad know instantly that I am typing on the keyboard instead of the screen; I'm not super techy.

So I opted for the heavier keyboard that can charge your phone. Maybe I overachieved, but it's nice knowing that I can do that if needed. I hook it up to an iPad with WiFi only. So I do need my phone for connectivity while away from home. The keyboard has performed flawlessly for me from day 1. If you don't mind the weight, it is very nice. Good protection, and the ability to swivel around is pretty cool.

So I really love this case a lot. The backlit keyboard is great, the extra battery pack for your phone is handy, and the versatility of the case itself is exactly what I needed but there are some drawbacks. 1. It's a bit heavy. I'm not sure what can be done about this but the weight really did catch me off guard. 2. The largest issue is that mine broke and it took Targus about an entire month to replace it. It broke around the mechanism that swivels the screen around. I think this is a common problem for cases like this because the reason I bought this one was because I had another one by a different manufacturer that did the same thing and it broke in the same place. Thankfully, Targus replaced the product since Best Buy wouldn't but waiting for the new one to come in for a month was annoying and I had to buy another case to use in the meantime.

Despite not seeing any reviews out there for this case (perhaps it was new when I was researching) I love this case. I use my iPad heavily for work (mostly office environment) and others consistently ask me where I got it and who makes it. It really makes the iPad into a versatile laptop/tablet combo. The back up battery on board also help charge my iPhone when it is running low. Very happy with this purchase.

I originally purchased a different brand keyboard but it constantly lost the blue tooth connection which was extremely frustrating! This keyboard case is absolutely awesome. I especially love the full size keyboard with backlit keys, the multiple viewing options for reading and typing, and finally the power bank (which provides an emergency phone charge). As an added bonus it is an excellent protective case too!

It's easy to put your iPad Air into. I really love the fact that it's sturdy, convenient, it rotates and the keyboard is quiet and easy to use. The backlit keys are vey good at night if your doing late homework. The Bluetooth feature is wonderful, and the batterie life for the keyboard is awesome. To some everything up on this brand ok keyboard case is very good, I've had this now for 3 months, no problems so far. This is by far one of the best investments that I've ever made.

I have gone through multiple cases for the ipad and this was by far the best. It has a decent slim design. The battery life is good. The versitility is great regarding the screen positions. The only drawback is the keyboard is a little flimsy meaning you can see it bend sometimes with pressure and positioning of the screen. However it hasn't cracked and I haven't any problems with it. Well worth the price. I can't complain

Wow! This keyboard is great, battery life is awesome and being able to flip the keyboard around to a tablet is so cool. I have been asked many times what type of laptop is that, I replay i't an iPad with a Targus keyboard. One of my best purchases, I may have to get another one because my wife keeps looking at it...lol

I love the versatility of the iPad positioning and the protective case. I haven't tried to plug my phone in. It was a little confusing at first to figure out whether the keyboard was charged.

This case is great! it doubles as a charger for my ipad, but due to the battery inside is does add a bit of bulk to the ipad, as well as weight. but it is definitely worth it!

I wanted the light up keys feature and I love that part. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is very heavy....much too heavy for me to carry in my purse.

I bought this for my husband after his second Zagg keyboard bit the dust. It's a bit heavier than the Zagg, but he loves it. It has backlit keys and allows him to either set it up like a laptop or tablet. So far, it's been great. The cost is a little high, but it seems to be worth it in quality.

I previously had a clam case, and it completely fell apart. Got this one and it was great. Keyboard is awesome. The only complaint I have is how heavy and bulky it is.

I enjoy using my iPad in particular when traveling. My only qualm is that I type on my iPad quite a bit and typing on the screen was clumsy and slow. This keyboard/case is the answer. It has a tremendously long battery life (I am currently in Europe, have been here three and a 1/2 weeks, have used my keyboard extensively and it is still humming along on the original charge). I have two concerns: 1) that it adds quite a bit of weight to your tablet use experience and 2) it is pricey for a keyboard/cover, but both are to be expected with the keyboard/case of this battery life and high quality of keyboard.
