    Originally I wanted a different color but it wasn't available. But as it turns out black always looks good. I like that it's sturdy and thick to protect my IPad. But I really like that the bottom folds so I can use it like a stand when looking at recipes while cooking.

    I had my iPad in a different case. It was just a protecter only anyways. I wanted a hard safe and sturdy case. Plus I wanted it to be able to sit the iPad up. Its also a big plus that I'm able to rotate it vertically and horizontally and it has a strap to keep it closed.

    I am really happy with this cover for my iPad. When it was new, I bought another cover and used it for a number of years. It was dirty and falling apart by the time I got this new one. Love it! It is very sturdy and allows me to turn the iPad into many positions.
