great for reading and writing

Actually, I bought the case a few weeks before I bought the iPad. This case lets me set the iPad on a table in landscape or portrait. When I use my Bluetooth keyboard, I can do lots of writing, and unlike the Apple keyboard case, I can see more of my writing when I rotate the iPad in the case to portrait. When I am in bed, the case makes for sturdily putting the iPad on my chest for reading. This case uses a magnetic clasp instead of a stretchy band to hold it shut. Works fine so far. The stretchy band on the previous case got loose, and I had to glue it back in place. Maybe this magnetic clasp will last longer.

It was the only cover on the stand (reasonably priced) that allows to rotate iPad without taking it out. Don’t know how it will withheld the long term use, but so far so good. Thank you.
