At first I was taken back by its rich colors, but quickly noticed in bright rooms the screen is very reflective from windows or bright lights. The colors are very good on this Tv but at night the blacks can a be a bit dark. So dark scenes can be hard to see everything. The sound is amazing I don't need a sound bar with this tv.
The google menu is a bit sluggish at times. I use a apple TV and in past my other TVs (Sony, LG) when I turn on my apple TV the TV would turn on. TCL TV does not. I do like the Tv and will keep it. The quality of the picture is so amazing. For the price you cant beat it.

I have only had it for a couple of weeks. So far I am very pleased. Excellent picture. The two 15 watt built in speakers get extremely loud but the TV could use a little more bass. I plan on purchasing a TCL soundbar (S55H) with subwoofer to pair with the TV. I bought this TV at BestBuy. I plan on keeping it for several years, so I also purchased the 5-year Geek Squad warranty. It has tons of channels built in and I have my PC hooked up to it. It replaced my 19-year-old 42" Vizio non-smart TV so it is a world of difference. It's like comparing a go-cart to a rocket ship. It is 2" smaller than the Vizio, yet the screen is 1" larger because of the thin bezels. For less than $230 (around half of what I paid for the Vizio ten years ago) it is a fantastic deal. I currently have it set up in my den. I am considering purchasing a larger one for my living room because I am so impressed with this one. I love the 4K QLED screen. I never really considered buying a TCL TV before, but after using this one I am sold on the brand. I really like this TV and I highly recommend it to anyone considering purchasing a new 43" TV.

The QLED picture quality is just too good

I bought this TV based on watching many YouTube reviews and reading many other buyers' comments. After watching a variety of programs on it for a week, I decided to return it. Why? Because the QLED quality of the color was just too good. When watching a movie I felt like I was right in the studio with the actors. All the colors were so sharp and the depth of the colors was amazing. There was a clarity setting on the picture menu that I set at 1 (the minimum) and the picture was still very real. It was so good that I could not watch a movie because I felt like I was watching someone's smartphone video. That is how great the color was. Sporting events were spectacular. I thought I was standing on the court or in the field. I decided to return the TCL QLED TV to get an Insignia LED TV, which I am very content with, and saved about $70. The clerk at the Best Buy return counter asked me what was wrong with the TCL TV. I said, "Nothing. The picture is just too real for me to watch." With all that said, before you buy this TCL QLED TV, go to the store and see what the picture actually looks like.

Excellent TV… great picture and sound overall. I’m using an AppleTV 4K as the sole input… not using the built-in interface/downloaded Apps at all, so no opinion on that. The only negative I can think of is I notice some lighter light-bleed “splotches” on the screen in very dark scenes when watching in a dark room, but that was somewhat expected since this is not an OLED or Mini LED screen. In a brighter room, the picture is fantastic! The screen gets VERY bright. In fact, I’ve advised the brightness down a good bit. The sound quality as great for built-in TV speakers and is perfectly adequate for typical viewing, but as with most TVs, if you want great bass in movies, you’re going to need a soundbar/subwoofer combo. For the money, it’s a great TV!

Note: bought on sale for $220.
Fantastic picture quality, color, and brightness for the price! I had a strict TV-size constraint for my room and unfortunately there are not many options for worthwhile TVs smaller than 55" besides expensive options like the LG C4 OLED. A coworker of mine told me about this TV and I'm amazed at how clear it looks despite being under $300!
I mainly use it for YouTube and gaming on a PS5. I do not game very much, so I did not opt for a 120Hz display. This TV DOES NOT have a 120Hz display, although they have a "MotionRate" feature that can emulate a higher refresh rate through some frame-smoothing thing. I have not personally used it, and do not intend to as I have heard that it is not very good. For a 60Hz TV, this is a great option for the size and price.
The SOUND QUALITY of the speakers was the most disappointing element of the TV. I recently purchased a 55" QM7 from TCL (right after they released the QM7K models :/) for my mother and the speakers included in the TV on that model are absolutely fantastic. It was genuinely amazing how good they sounded without any extra audio equipment. However, the Q6 does not have anywhere close to the sound quality that the QM7 has, which is to be expected for a much cheaper model.

Great TV for the price! Great picture and sound quality, nice features. One star deduction goes for the remote control. No numbers to select desired TV channels, no play/pouse/rew/ff buttons. This remote serves for streamers, but lack of those buttons is a negative point. Especially for elderly people

I went in looking for another Samsung or Sony to replace my existing Samsung that was failing. But this tv seemed to have a better picture for half the price. So I took a chance, and have been very pleased. I have had it now for one year and love this TCL. I already had external speakers which produce better sound.

I bought this TCL 43” Q6 back in September 2024 and after using it for several months, I can say it was a great purchase for the price. The picture quality is really impressive with rich colors and crisp 4K detail. HDR content looks bright and vivid, and even regular YouTube videos or shows on Netflix look way better than I expected. The QLED display brings out nice contrast, although sometimes in really dark scenes there’s a slight halo effect around bright objects. Nothing too distracting though.
The Google TV interface is fast and easy to use. Apps load quickly, and having Chromecast built-in has been super convenient. I use it for streaming, gaming on my PS5, and the occasional screen cast from my phone. It handles everything smoothly. The sound is decent for casual watching but I ended up getting a small soundbar just to boost the experience. Overall, this TV has been a reliable everyday screen with solid performance, especially at this price point. Definitely satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this as a cheap extra TV for my basement where I moved my Xbox Series X for gaming and just to have one alternate TV in the house. For the money, it's solid. Works well, picture is fine (not amazing but I wasn't expecting that) and games look good. The blacks are kinda rough (in that they tend to be greyish) and motion interpolation isn't always the best. But for the money it's a great value and runs all the streaming stuffs you'd expect it to. VERY light too which was nice for mounting on the wall.

Excellent picture quality: it works great for gaming. I exchanged it for the same model, just larger, as I discovered the room I was moving into could handle a larger screen.
Never purchased a TCL before, always was a Sony or LG person, but I'm so happy with this purchase and the quality and value.

I bought this tv to replace a 15 year old Sony smart tv. This tv is in our bedroom. We switched from cable to streaming. New smart tv's are smarter. My tv has the google operating system. I think this means android. It works flawlessly. Picture is great. Clear and vibrant. Sound is typical for tv speakers. I use a sound bar. Did not have to make many adjustments to the picture quality. I did adjust the brightness. It was very bright out of the box. Slight adjustment then perfect for my eyes.

Easy setup out of the box. Nice screen sound is good. Very basic remote without numbers on it. Several Apps QR code was not working, no option to sign in with TV provider and at times apps would not accept your existing logins. Would have given Tv a 5 if the apps was not difficult to sign into.

A Stunning LG TV Experience!

I recently purchased an LG TV, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The picture quality is absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and incredible clarity, making every viewing experience feel cinematic. The OLED technology truly sets it apart, delivering unparalleled sharpness and brightness.
The smart features are a game-changer. With webOS, navigating apps like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube is incredibly smooth and user-friendly. The Magic Remote is intuitive, with a point-and-click feature that feels futuristic and fun to use.
Sound quality is equally impressive. The built-in speakers produce rich, immersive audio, and Dolby Atmos support takes things to another level. However, pairing it with an LG soundbar made the experience even better!
Another huge plus is the sleek and modern design—it looks gorgeous mounted on the wall or on a stand. It’s a perfect fit for any living room setup.
Overall, LG has knocked it out of the park with this TV. Whether you’re watching movies, gaming, or just streaming your favorite shows, this TV delivers on every front. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch upgrade!
