    I have never had issues with any TCL except this one. I purchased it because I was migrating from Roku Tv to Google TV but this was a disappointment from TCL. The TV was laggy all the time but we put up with it because it was in my daughter’s room and she had limited time to play it. This TV died on us after year and a half. It just turns on with black screen and that’s all. It’s really sad that this product on sale was over $300 and it lasted just for the life of its manufacturer’s warranty. Now it can’t be replaced or repaired by TCL

    Purchase a warranty with this TV

    I bought this TV at the beginning of this year and one thing that I noticed it was slow to react to the remote control. It would also back you out of certain channels like Netflix and take you back to the home screen on its own. Then as of today lines started to show up on the bottom half of the screen and it some times blacks out and you can only hear the TV with a black screen. I wish I would have purchased a warranty now. Hope this review helps anyone when shopping for a new television.

    Changes light settings in the middle of watching a show, goes back and forth from bright to low light. Frequently “crashes” going back to the Home Screen. Would not purchase again.

    TCL will not honor warranties

    TCL has written in several loopholes and will find anyway possible to not repair or replace a device, even if you purchased an extended warranty through them directly. AVOID THESE TVS AT ALL COSTS

    Flickering and blackout

    I have this TV less than 1 year now and today it started flickering and then blackout. When just turned on, it flickers at the bottom of the screen and then after about 30seconds the screen blackout. I can still hear sound but there is no display. I dont think it sould be malfunctioning so soon when i only watch TV on weekends.

    DO NOT BUY THIS TV! Bought this TV December 5th 2022 and the screen just went black 6 months later. I tried everything google told me from hard resetting it to unplugging it from my wall for over 8 hours and nothing worked. The sound still works, and the LED light at the bottom is still responsive but the display is completely black. This should not be a problem after 6 months. Listen to the 1 stars reviews because it seems to be a big problem with this specific TV. I will be purchasing a new TV but im staying far away from TCL. SAVE YOUR MONEY

    Good for budget bedroom tv with one of the best OS you can get in my opinion. The contrast is okay on the 50 inch but as I understand the other sizes do not do as well. Not the best, definitely not the worst

    Works as for as the tv is concerned, i have a fire stick on my. As the programing of the apps on the tv itself seem to have a clitch, after using for a while.

    Like many others, the TV went black after just 13 months (suspicious!). No more warranty and their uselss customer care is somewhere is of no help debugging or solving the issue. I wish I purchased extended warranty. Just ignore this TV and thank me later.

    This is the worst tv I’ve ever owned. It used to work great, I personally love android in a TV because its huge app catalogue but this tv only lasted 1 year and 2 months. I bought it new on January 24 2023 and today March 8 2024 it’s broken. I turn it on and it’s only a black screen with nothing on it, I’ve tried everything on my IT knowledge but nothing seems to work. I checked on the internet and 3 people on Reddit seemed to have the same isssue. Really I can’t believe it just lasted a year. I will never ever buy TCL again and will stuck with Samsung or Sony because the last Sony tv I had lasted for 10 years.
