This Roku TV is the first I’ve ever own in the Smart Tv Class. It’s easy to set up and get going. Definitely have a good strong Wi-Fi signal in order to use the apps. Only “con” is the fact that the picture is a little bit dark. I’m still working on that. The picture looks great. Overall good purchase. Good price.

Bought this TV for my Dad this year for his birthday and he loves it. He's already a huge fan of the ROKU system and since its built in he was up and running in no time. The TV is light and easy to mount own the wall. And the picture is nice and clean and vibrant. Well worth the price.

Bought this tv when my old one gave out. Just in time for the big game. Gotta say i was pleasantly surprised with the picture quality. And my wife loves the fact that roku is built in. It really is a great tv for the price. Would definately recommend it to anyone looking for a budget tv.

I got this for my mom after my son shattered hers. It’s bigger than her last tv and it’s also a smart tv. The picture on it is good. So far so good, will update if I’ve run into any problems. Installation was quick and very user friendly. The remote is small and easy to use.

First off, I am not a TV snob. I have invested thousands in both Plasma and LCD/LED TV's over the years. Some high level, latest tech. Some budget friendly basic sets. Inevitably technology advances so so fast, they become "old" tech, outdated in 4-5 years. I had a SONY XBR that I paid more than a Mortgage payment on, that was old news before it died and I wanted to replace it. The past few sets I have purchased have been TCL. They look great, are intuitive to use, and at $300 for a 55" 4k, I feel no guilt replacing it in a few years. 8k will be here faster than we know it. I can get 4 sets for a whole home and spend less than the TV snobs pay for 1 set! I am happy with these tv's. Are there more impressive pictures out there? I'm sure of it. But this is a great picture, and the audio doesnt matter to me as I use sound bars or my Yamaha receiver. You will be pleased with this set, I am sure of it!

Whole reason we got this tv was because it had Disney+ only thing we don’t like is having to use two remotes the Roku one and our cable one didn’t come with a tv remote. Price was great for size and quality

Great picture, good rich sound, and easy to set up and use! Bonus: I did not know when I purchased this TV, that by adding a simple under $10 USB stick, I could record up to 90 minutes of programming, which allows me to pause the program I’m watching and go use the restroom, or get a snack, or answer a phone call without missing any of the program I’m watching! I LOVE this feature! It reminds me of the good old days when I had cable TV (before it got too darn expensive) I get loads of free programming and stations, that I never got before! I also really like the built in TV guide, that gives you days of upcoming program listings! I do agree that the remote is a little small, and doesn’t have numbers on it, and we had to try to figure that out but once we did, it’s no problem. So many nice features on this inexpensive TV! Very happy with my purchase.

Great picture. Easy set up. Great value. It's nice to just select the input from the main screen instead of always selecting input and shuffling through the list. We use a lot of different inputs, so this is a nice feature. Love the TV!

The TV is great, much more bigger than I expected and the color is great. I love it. The only downside is you can’t connect Bluetooth to the TV.. you have to download Roku app on your phone and connect headphone through the phone.

We have an external ROKU and when our TV died, we were looking to upgrade and have it built in since we had the older version that couldn't play Disney+. So far the TV is good and was easy to set up and it's great that my Verizon fios remote has decent functionality along with the app for times when the ROKU remote is misplaced. There are two things that I'm not super excited about and that includes the volume when switching between my cable box and apps in ROKU. Seems like I have to turn up the volume quite a bit, just like when I had the external ROKU. (they seem to like the idea of buying a soundbar, but I'd rather not go that route yet). There's also a weird clicking noise when it comes out of fast forward or rewind using the cable box. I'm sure it happens on different occasions but I don't recall offhand. Some reviews seem to suggest calling either geek squad or ROKU support for advice and I'll probably do that before the 30 day warranty.

This tv has definitely exceeded expectations as far as picture quality, ease of use, and overall value! Would definitely purchase a few more to put in the other bedrooms of the house, can’t find anything better than this for the price.

I originally bought a Hisense 55 inch as it had good reviews and brought it back within a couple days. The picture was great but the controller barely worked. Looked it up and that's apparently a common problem. Decided to try the TCL as I read good reviews as well. This tv is amazing. The ease of use the picture is phenomenal and the sound is great. No need for a sound bar imo. I also bought a cheap indoor antenna from Best Buy to watch football and local channels free. The live antenna picture is the best picture out of all of them. So crisp and clear. Just beautiful. Can't speak on the longevity and durability of this unit but so far it is excellent. I would definitely recommend this. Best Buy employees were awesome during the transactions as well. Great purchase!

This was simple to setup and get connected to WiFi - the Roku interface didn't hurt that process in the least. I would say this is a very flexible smart TV - I have it wall mounted and connected to my Receiver - Media Player and an Off the Air Antenna. It's images are very clean in standard viewing I would say the blacks were less dark than I was accustomed to but the old Plasma always gave near perfect black. I found the Cinema setting for the 4K cleaned this up when it mattered and the image was almost as crystal clear and clean as my 4k smaller Samsung. Sound quality is decent there aren't any issues in my small living room - I listened without the receiver for the first 3 weeks. - I found the network connection to stay on very consistently. My stand alone Roku was dropping out quite a bit but it was a few years old. Whether streaming or off the air it seems to work well and be straight forward to use.

The TV has a great picture and was very reasonably priced. Having ROKU built into the TV is also an added bonus. I would definitely recommend taking advantage of the sale price and purchase this TV. I plan on buying another TV.

I researched the best 55' tv's then I researched the best value. I love Vizio tv's, I have a 46 that I have had for 7years. So I was leaning back in that direction but when I watched a review of Samsung, LG, Vizio and the TCL, I was blown away by the comparison model first and although the TCl didn't have the best picture of the four , the features, roku, accessibility, ease of setup and the all the other streaming features made it the best value in t.v.'s. I am in love with this t.v. I adjusted and played around with the color and the picture is great, speakers are great although I have a sound bar. The only complaint I have is I would like another one. Great T.V. at any price but the price itself, makes this one a no brainer..

TCL has been making quality products now for several years, and this is definitely in that group. The Roku software makes ease-of-use a high priority, and to that end it is excellent. Set up as a breeze, and installation of apps is simple. When paired with a good antenna, the TV works incredibly well for local broadcasts - and the addition of a USB drive gives you the ability to pause live tv. Definitely a perk. Overall, this is a wonderful tv for the price. Is it the best tv on the market? Well... no. There are higher priced TVs that have better capabilities, but you won’t get them for $300 either. At that price, this is a must-buy and a worthy addition to your living room, gaming area or guest room.
