Don't do it. I was convinced this is what I needed for our space. So sleek and modern with a way to make it look like we do not warship TV. It does have a beautiful artsy display with nice soft sounds and it's relaxing to have on in the background. However that's were the nice part ends. The remote is a complete disappointment. It acts as if the batteries are dying yet we replaced them with the best new batteries many times. We tired the TV at the store and the same issue was happening there. We even swapped the store batteries to ensure it was the remote. It acts like it had soda spill on it even though its was brand new. This issue started within the first month but was not consistent until just a week after the normal return window for Best Buy had closed. We considered trying to get a universal remote but worries that might limit the functions of the art settings. The routing hardware is insured but is is not pivoting and not positional. When you do us this as a TV you can not tilt it or turn it at all. The was not a concern I had until I actually used it and found it greatly took away from the movie time sofa cuddles. I returned this TV and purchased a fancier brand art TV and was unimpressed right away for different reasons. I ended up going back to the store and buying a normal TV with a nice wall mount. I will just make a screen saver playlist for the art function feel.

Really good TV and nice alternative to the Samsung Frame. The remote is easy and the user interface is what is far superior to the frame. We own both and this user interface is great - it is google but works very seamless. If you have YouTube TV this is a no brainer. Mount is specific to this TV so be prepared for that but is so similar to any frame TV. In the box it includes a natural frame free of cost so you have that option - again nice to have included. The antiglare coating is great as well for any bright room.

I love this tv! I had a 55" samsing 4k tv, but the TCL has a better quality and I love the fact that you can set a display photo to make it look like a painting on the wall!

The picture is beautiful, we love the large variety of art to choose from. Easy to install and set up. So glad we purchased it.

This is by far the best feature for my living room wall. All of our guests love seeing the pictures and different possibilities our device offers.

This is an incredible tv; easy to mount. I don't think it ever actually looks like real art (wasn't really expecting it to) but the only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is because when playing my switch on it, it flashes the input black screen like its newly registering it's current input. It last about 1-2 seconds; happens once or twice a day at most. Certainly not the most inconvenient of things. Super easy to install too!

The images don’t get as dim as a Samsung Frame TV to look like real canvas the way a Samsung TV does. But I really like the Google TV feature and we actually use it as a TV more than I expected.

Great value television! the frame look without the cost. NO EXTRA BOX!!! Just hang the tv and plug in.

If you are looking to purchase this as a Samsung frame competitor, don’t. The art mode function is hard to navigate, you have to manually turn on art mode (there is no motion detection sensor like the Frame has), and then when you do use the art mode function, after about 30 minutes it will automatically revert to the Google TV screensavers/ambient mode which is NOT the art you selected and has words on the screen. It entirely defeats the purpose of it being an “art” TV. I have reached out to TCL several times and have been told there is a way to turn off the ambient mode (there isn’t) and there is a setting to keep the art mode on indefinitely (there isn’t). We will be returning because there’s basically no difference between this TV and a standard flat screen since the art mode is essentially worthless. Hopefully they fix the issue because I liked that it did not have an external box like the Samsung Frame and does look well mounted above our fireplace.
