Easy set up and controls. Great picture and sound quality for a set sold at a budget price.

This TCL 55" 4K TV is reasonably priced, very easy to hook-up, and has and exceptional picture and a easy to operate remote!

I bought the TCL 55" 4K TV six weeks ago--my first flat screen TV (TCL 55P605). The reviews gave me confidence that this model delivers impressive TV performance comparable to other brands selling for twice the price. I'm very pleased with it.   The picture quality is truly amazing in both 4K content and in older formats. The technology in this TV seems to smooth the images so that old video content looks great. The screen is bright, the colors are vibrant, and it's easily adjustable. I plugged in my little Bose speakers to give better clarity to the sound (i.e. into the headphone jack behind the TV).   I'm VERY happy with this TV!

Best value 4K TV out there. Setup was really easy. Picture quality is fantastic. I also like that it has a headphone jack.

My 10 year old flat screen plasma died shortly after Christmas. I chose this TV because my parents have a TCL for the last year or two and I'd noticed the great picture quality on theirs. That, and the price was right. One thing that I haven't liked about this TV from the start is that unless you are watching it straight on, the picture looks terrible. From the side it looks almost white washed. This is a problem for me as I often watch TV from my computer desk which is set at an angle from the TV. Not too much of a big deal, but it's taken some getting used to. My main issue is that tonight, a mere 38 days after purchase there are already green lines going through the TV. I've got one large green line extending vertically from top to bottom and then another, smaller horizontal line going through the right corner creating a cross effect. I've just emailed support to see what they will do about it, but no matter what, it's going to be an inconvenience. I paid over $100 to have the TV mounted to the wall. I'm a small female and cannot lift the TV off the wall by myself. So, let's say they actually replaced it and sent a new one- how am I supposed to get it off the wall and then pay again to get the new one installed? I've read that if they do a replacement it's often a refurb which I would also find completely unacceptable for a 38 day old TV. Of course we're out of the return period with Best Buy or else I'd just return it for something else. At any rate, I'm highly disappointed and no matter what will be inconvenienced now and possibly have to pay more money out of pocket to re-mount the TV. Will update my review if they some how manage to make things easy on me.

This TV is amazing! I have only owned Samsung HD TV's prior to this, but I used a ROKU with all my TV's, so I figured I'd give it a try based on the positive reviews. The picture quality is excellent. It's not OLED quality, but its equivalent to the Samsung and Vizio HDR equivalent TV's for less money. I have little kids and in laws who use the TV, but I always have to help get it started with multiple remotes. Not anymore. The single remote is very simple to use. Also, I use an HD antenna to get free basic HD channels and this ROKU TV lets you plug in a USB stick so you can pause up to 90 minutes of standard TV (through the antenna)!!! That sweet little feature I didn't know about until I bought it. We still watch lots of sports, but don't pay for cable, so all my local sports comes through the over the air HD antenna (or Sling TV). Now I can start it, pause it, and come back to watch with minimal commercials. Finally, all the connections are easily accessible on the right hand rear side of the TV, unlike my old TV's where they were rear facing or bottom facing and impossible to make all the HDMI, antenna etc connections.

Great tv especially for the price. Awesome features like hdr, smart tv with roku, full array led.Defenitley recommend.

This TV is the best bang for your buck with roku , 4k , hdr10 , and even dolby vision

The TV is amazing! Bright vivid colors and dark darks. Would recommend to anyone wants performance at a budget price.

Great screen with excellent black levels and a user friendly interface. The screen does have a narrow prime viewing angle though, with significant wash out when viewed from the side.

This is my first time buying budget 4K TV and I very like the picture quality of this TCL 55P605. It have a lot of the feature of an high 4K TV like Sony X900E.

It was an easy setup. TV wasn’t heavy. It has enough hdmi ports for all my gaming setup. Display is fine on default settings but you may calibrate as needed.

This TV easily beats more expensive popular brands like SONY, LG and Samsung in this price range. To match the pic quality and performance of this TV you have to get into $1100+ zone. Colors are rich, contrast is great and ROKU TV software is flawless. What kinda falls short is the speaker. Depending on content, at times it needs extra volume. Would recommend a big surround speaker for those with Immersive needs. :) Here is bummer for some people. The colors fade-shift in a way,once the viewing angle goes beyond 30%. So, watching from the side couch (45% angle) really changes experience. I did a lot of comparisons and this TV is the best for our use. In terms of the display quality, that's less subjective and more objective - hardware specific fact, It's superior by all measures when compared to the big brands in the same price range.

Saw the review on Wirecutter and agree that this a great TV for the price. I also like to Roku integration.

Great looking tv. The picture is amazing playing HDR gaming. Also, the movies and TV show is average, but I bought it for the games and this TV got it.

Great for the price no major complaints. The only thing I would want to change is the remote. Although it is simple it does feel a little underwhelming.

I have been using this TV since Nov and it still amazes me with the quality of 4k HDR that it shows me. The Roku interface is simple and easy to use. I can quickly access youtube, mlb.tv, cable, and Xbox and switch between them in seconds. It turns on and off quickly with no fuss thou I wish the power light was on the bezel and not under it. One thing I dislike is that the remote itself has a very slick finish and it is small so it does not fit my adult hand. It can also slide right out too. Because the back of the remote is so curved, pushing slightly down on either side will make it slide away, it needs to be flat. The settings are for the most part easy to work with and with one button press you can quickly see if you are in 4k and HDR and also change the brightness as needed. If you done your research, you will know that their is a general issue with grey/darken corners and my set does have that. I didn't return it as the effect is only seen with a white background. While watching any content, be it youtube, mlb.tv, or Xbox, I never notice it. Yes its a bummer but then again its a $600 TV that does what a $1400 does as well. In summary, I've not had a single issue with content, lag input, or anything with this TV and would highly recommend it to anyone one a budget and/or with a Xbox One X. It is an amazing pair.

This TV is great! The word I really want to use to explain it isn't allowed on here lol I have this hooked up to my PC and PS4 Pro and this thing is freaking awesome! The picture is phenomenal for the price point, a few tweaks and you can make it that much better. The Roku built in is fantastic and I never have any issues except with Hulu but that's cause their new app sucks and does the same thing on my FireStick. I was ready to buy the $800 Samsung 55" 4K but the guy at BestBuy sold me on this TCL. I'm a tech guy and know my stuff but he was explaining specs I never heard about, he told me this TV was a little better than the Samsung. The only difference was the brand, that doesn't mean it is better than the top end 4k TVs I just want to point that out. It was just the better than all the others near the same price point.

I had no issues with the TV, however, the Geek Squad only knew the very basics of the setup and could not help me with my other questions about the features on this TV.
