Picked up the TCL 55" S5-Series as an open-box replacement for a broken TV. Picture quality is solid for the price. The colors are bright and 4K content looks good. That said, it didn’t come with a remote, had the wrong legs, and part of the top trim is separating with light shining through. Not ideal, but it still works. If you're buying open box, double-check the condition first. For my use (basic streaming), it does the job. Not perfect, but better than no TV at all.

Not bad in sound quality or picture! I play my PlayStation on this TV and the graphics look great, and when I don’t want to wear my headset the sound is still good as well!

I bought this for my daugher and her boyfriend when their previous TV died just before Christmas. They love it! You can't beat this for the price, with a great picture and ease of use.

Purchased this TV for my business to use for my security camera system. This replaced a 2 year old LG that failed with screen/display issues. The picture quality on the TCL tvs is great, no issues being in a well lit office with lots of windows in the storefront. The size is great for my 26 camera system giving me lots of real estate to monitor things efficiently and with great picture with my 4k cameras. Highly recommend and would purchase again.

I purchased this TV for my bedroom. I wanted a Google TV for the access to streaming services. I have a Roku TV prior to this. This TV's screen is way better than my Roku. Colors pop. It's best served for viewing directly in from of the TV. That's what makes it perfect for a bedroom TV, especially if the screen will be stationary. I may but the larger one for my play room.

For the price this thing is great. I haven't had a new TV in quite a few years so I appreciate the auto change to certain TV modes like Dolby Vision when it detects that content. I paired it with a DTS:X compatible 2.1 soundbar and it's great. The picture quality seems good to me. It's very smooth and crisp. You can obviously play around with the settings to fine tune all of that to your liking. One of the even better things about this TV is the built in Google TV. It is faster than the Google Chromecast 4k with built in Google TV. That dongle is slow as heck and this built in one puts it to shame. If you've already invested in the Google TV area and like the Chromecast, this is a good choice.

GREAT CHOICE!!!! I was not sure about this brand TCL .However I saw a gentleman purchasing the same tv so I gave it a shot. I am so glad Great features and the picture quality is excellent. I. Already thinking about a TCL 65 INCH for the living room. Never thought I'd leave Samsung.

It is an excellent product. I am very happy with my purchase. It looks super good, the image quality is super excellent.

The TV had a great picture and sound was nice. Price point was good. The issue was it had trouboe staying conneceted to my wifi. Everytime i used it i would have to reconnect. This also made it frustrating to go through the setup becaude it required internet.

This was purchased to replace a Hisense I'd bought 4 months before that stopped working and Hisense customer service was just going in circles with me. This TV was so much better and easier to set-up. It mounted on the wall easier, worked with accessories easier, and has been a much more pleasant experience. I recommend this TV.

Great TV for the price per spec. If you are in need of a tv with good picture and gives you the ability to get up to 120mhz for video games with decent graphics, this isnt a bad option for the price
