Great waterproof and drop protection. But couldn’t hear anyone when I called or they called you have to put it on speaker.

When we first bought the case, I was impressed with the style and protection. However, after returning 2 cases, I've gone back to LifeProof. The charging port cover on the first case broke off (it isn't attached using quality material) so we exchanged it for a replacement. The second case, when pushing the power button or volume adjustments, would come apart at the seam. I was prepared to love this case, but the quality (especially for the premium price) just wasn't there.

Bought this case because I’ve always liked tech21 cases but missed the water resistance of lifeproof. The hooks on the part that covers the charging port broke off within a few days. So it is no longer water proof. My phone slid off the bed and the back popped off immediately. Also, the hole for the charger is not big enough for a standard Apple charging cord. It must be forced to fit, I’d say maybe it’s off by a millimeter, maybe less. Not pleased with the purchase at all

Case did its job in the water and on the beach but my phone calls had difficulty hearing me. It's had to remove the case and re-install every time you have an important call and don't have Bluetooth with you.

I wish I had read the Best Buy reviews before buying this case! Is there a worse case out there? Probably. Is there a worse case that costs $89.99? Probably not. Which is why they're selling it for $49.99 now. It is awful. Tech 21's claims are basically false advertising. The sound quality is abysmal. The case muffles my voice and it makes it harder to hear the person I am talking with. The case is not durable. Within a week of purchase, a tiny piece broke off the cap that covers the charging port, so it won't close, which makes the case not waterproof. Also within a week, the plastic cracked in 3 places after a drop of less than 4 feet, which also makes the case not waterproof. Maybe I should carry the phone wrapped in bubble wrap in an airtight plastic bag... I am extremely disappointed with the product, and with Best Buy for selling it, especially at such a high price. They should do better for their customers.

Oh wow! I had high hopes for this case. It may be waterproof, drop proof but it is also very difficult to hear incoming calls as well as conversations! The tab that covers the charge port will not snap back in so it is just a nuisance. I am returning this.

This phone case is terrible. I purchased it for my husband. It is almost impossible for me to hear him when I call because the sound is so muffled. He has to remove the cover sometimes. The piece that opens and closes so you can charge your phone already broke off. Of course this happened within the first month of using the case, but after Best Buys joke of a return policy expired so we were unable to return or even exchange it. I didn't realize you only have 15 days to return a product to Best Buy. I would understand if that applied to their appliances and their more expensive electronics but to apply that return policy to their smaller items makes me think that they know they purchase lower quality products. I will no longer purchase anything from Best Buy or this brand of phone cases again. Very disappointed.

We have been using lifeproof case for many years and have been a fan of it. I found this case to be fairly comparable to lifeproof at half of price. It is fairly solidly built with a screen protector. It is shock and water proof. Two main drawback, however. First, the case is hard to open and close. Second, the charger port is too small for many generic lightning cord attachment, making my generic cord obsolete when the case is on. Oh, and it only came in black and my wife is not happy with the color election on her phone. In short, a good purchase and would recommend highly, especially if you don't want to shell out cash for lifeproof case.

Was looking for a budget friendly alternative to a lifeproof case. In regards to speaker sound level and call quality it is a very good case. I can hear very well over speaker phone and earpiece. Some however had trouble hearing me while the phone was on speaker. The home button is tough to operate in the case and reduces the thumb print recognition. The case doesn't handle hard shocks well and may likely come apart. The port cover on the bottom has completely fallen off after 20 days of use. You are getting your money worth and not much more. Wouldn't suggest using this case in underwater situations. Better suited for use in heavy rain or splash situation at most.

Good Protection, but quality is poor, does not fit properly. The cover for the charging port ripped off only after having the case for three days.

The first time I dropped it and it cracked all around the home button and the snaps on the side also broke off. The volume knob constantly gets caught in my hair

Unfortunately, this phone case looks great, feels very comfortable in the hand but the person you're speaking with can't hear you well. This happened with every person I called or who called me. I'm only using it now if I'm near a pool. Don't buy this product.

I regret getting this case. It's just not worth the price at all! The case muffed the iPhone's sound, blocked the ports, just not attractive at all. I wasn't expecting the bullet proof case with tech specs out the waazoo, but still, I was expecting a little more than I received.

This is a very poorly made case. In less than 7 days the cover for the charge port fell off. The glue came undone. I have since returned it for a full refund. If you want a waterproof case, I'd recommend the Pelican Brand.

Bought the first one, had it for 10 days and the bottom hatch that covers the charging port started to tear. Took it in and they gave me a new one and the bottom hatch broke off completely in about 5 days. Use it as a case but will never be water proof. You get what you pay for

Love it, the only thing that I would change is the opening for the charger port needs to be bigger to allow the aftermarket charger cords to be inserted. You can only use the original small iPhone cord with this case.

I bought 2 of these for brand new iPhone 7. Case was very flimsy and felt cheap. Had a hard time getting the case to snap into place. Not sure how it can really be waterproof. Material seems cheap. Returned and got a Lifeproof. I've never been disappointed with Lifeproof!!

My son purchased this case when he first got his iPhone 7. Not going to lie it does look nice. Thought it was the smarter buy than getting a pricey LifeProof case. Idk.. paying amost $100 for a case for a phone that's already waterproof boggles me? When we got the case home it was really hard to snap on. Seemed like the tool which was suppose to me included wasn't in the packaging to help open the case up before install. Once we finally got the case open and the phone in. It was another hassle snapping the case on the phone. Once it was installed the home button has this little plastic film over the home button that interfere with the Touch ID. So ultimately we returned the case for a different one.
