Case is nice. Fit phone securely. Did not like that I had to open to see who was calling. Huge drawback for me! Returned case and purchased an S-view from Samsung.

This case is about that same as other cases to protect phone. Even though it has screen cover it doesn't stay in place if you accidentally drop phone.

I bought this case about 3 months ago when I purchased my note 5. At the time there weren't too many cases available and I usually go with urban armor cases but at the time uag didn't have a case ready for the note 5 so I took a risk on this one. I did end up getting an urban armor case as well at a later date. After using both for several months I've decided to stick with the tech21 case. My main reasons for preferring this case include: 1. The wrap around protection covering the front of the phone. I keep my phone in my pocket most of the day and it usually sits in the same pocket with my keys. Standard cases don't protect the front of the screen or the home button from potential scratches so I prefer folio cases for this reason. It also does a good job covering the top and bottom of the phone and it is very durable if dropped. 2. The flip case that folds to cover the phone. Not only can it hold a few cards or cash but it has am added bonus of acting as a landscape stand for your phone. It's great if you watch a lot of videos on your phone. It has a magnetic flap that seals over the back of the right side of the phone and I haven't noticed the magnet interfering with s pen usage so far. I did notice after using the case for about 2 weeks holding only my driver's license and debit card that it appeared to leave a small imprint of the shape of the cards on the screen. I have a glass screen protector on my phone so I wasn't worried about it. However if you hold cards with this case I would strongly recommend installing a screen protector since it seals the phone pretty tight when closed. Also it can be tricky getting used to how the case flaps around and it covers the camera unless you physically fold it out of the way. It's a great case and I know when I'm ready to sell my note 5 it will be in like new condition thanks to using it.

The Note 5 Tech21 Wallet case made some improvements over last years Note 4 wallet case. More wraparound FlexShock, now a magnetic closure flap, improved coloring (Smoke/Black) w Black Sapphire phone, the colors blend nice. The magnetic flap flips back to create a kickstand. Case is easy to install/remove so it won’t scratch the metal bezel. Buttons were hard to press, but did an exacto slit cut on backside of button area to allow the plastic to flex more and give the buttons more feel. It’s my first wallet case and I no longer need to carry a wallet, which is more convenient. The credit card slot holds 2 credit cards easily, and they won't fall out with the case closed. Outer shell is a line textured flat black with a real professional look. Tech21 hit a homerun with this one, case closed.

Caught my eye when i saw this case. Being a previous owner of the Note 4 and a having a Tech21 case on that made this an easy choice. Rubberized case provides great protection around the whole phone. It comfortably holds 3 cards. I recommend this case to anyone that wants solid protection and a great alternative to carrying a wallet. Just wish there was a way creative way to make it more convenient to use the rear camera.

The plastic that fits around the phone is too thick. It makes the S-pen difficult to get out (unless you have long fingernails). A very bulky case.
