This is a great movie for those willing to pay attention. It has many moving parts. Things visible may not be as they seem. The acting is superior. The cinematography superb. The music great. It's a lot to understand and take it. I had to watch it more than once to really understand it and I'm still not sure if I got it all. Take a deep breath and pay attention. You'll be glad you did. Lots of action, emotion, and suspense. Excellent movie.

If you have seen this movie you know that trying to review it is a waste of time. Movie is all over the place and is flat out AWESOME. Bought two copies one for me and one for best friend in Hawaii. Waited til he watched to really talk about it and it’s a movie that is unfollowable. But again trying to review this movie has the markings of insanity. But yet highly recommended to anyone who has not seen it yet and strap in put your helmet on and buckle your seatbelt it’s a helluva ride.

Cool movie with a cool Steel book. A Bit of a convoluted plot but it’s worth a watch and neat for multiple viewings( May notice new things or understand certain plot points that may have not been as easy to catch/understand upon first viewing). Excellent cinematography; truly a technical marvel but I wouldn’t expect anything less with Christopher Nolan at the helm. The sound track by Ludwig Goransson absolutely slaps too. The Steel book is clean and will make a fine addition to my collection.

I'm a sucker for steelbooks. Wish this had a more memorable or artistic design, but it does the job. Solid movie. Not Nolan's best, but nowhere near his worst, and his use of camera trickery for some of the scenes looks amazing. Film may be difficult for some to track, but if you find yourself well-versed in *semi-spoilers* relative time-travel storytelling, you should be fine with this film. If you typically like Nolan films, or loved Inception, you should be fine to enjoy this film.

Quite possibly the smartest and most re-watchable sci-fi film in the last decade! You will not understand this film on the first viewing, so buying the blu-ray is essential to fully understand the story and multiple timelines. After watching this film, you will think that you are living your life in reverse and simple motions you make will feel strange. Characterization is lacking, but the concept of inverting time is what makes the story mind-boggling.

Tenet is a movie that you will not start to understand until the last hour when the story starts to come together, even then you will have to watch it at least two more times. The sound can be distracting, effects and music are louder than the dialouge most times. At first I thought it was how the disc was manufactured, but I come to understand that the movie was made that way for theaters. The visuals and sfx are amazing. After a couple of watches, I have grown to like it more.

My sister was raving about this movie so since we both are movie fanatics I purchesd it. confusing and very slow just my opinion. I 've seen Denzel Washington son in much better movies. He may want to select his movies carefully if he want's to be the next Wasington to carry the torch.

Normally this film release would be a theatrical event for me. Due to virus I waited for the steelbook. Yes, it’s long and complicated, but I expect nothing less. It will take repeated viewings to figure out what’s going on. I’m sure I’ll like it more in the future than I did in the past. That’s also an element of what the film is about. There are issues with the sound dialogue. Unless you have an excellent sound system. Not my favorite film, but I’m sure it will grow on me.

A very nice looking steelbook, but in hand, it's meh. Inside artwork and behind are very nice, but the front artwork could have been far better especially with the "TENET" lettering. A full gloss finish would have been more ideal here. Overall, viewers are encouraged to use subtitles to get a flow of the dialogue in the movie and not miss key things cos it's a wild ride lol. HD video is amazing. An audio commentary for Nolan is lacking here and I wonder why this wasn't done.

I'm happy to own this now. The movie is incredible from a technical standpoint. However, it's convoluted with lots of exposition and is exhausting to watch on a first viewing. I'm happy I can pause and rewind things now because some of the shots are so complicated that my brain needs more time to process how certain effects were pulled off. Tenet has gotten better for me on repeat viewings and the bonus features are WILD and definitely worth checking out!

    Solid Steelbook, Great movie

Steelbooks are always super cool, so that part and the quality is amazing. Also, this movie is so under-rated. Anything by Nolan is going to take some thought, but that's what I love about his movies. You have to watch them more than 1x to start understanding the story and timelines. So, who wouldn't want to buy something you actually have to actively watch a few times? Isn't that the point of buying a movie?

Great movie. Had to watch with captions on a few times to fully understand it, but Nolan at his mind-blowing best since Inception. Extra features including making of are great adds. Only wish there was a Director's cut included with it being 3 years old now, but guess that's a future purchase in the making.

Good movie and Blu-ray. Yes, the dialogue is hard to decipher and you'll probably need the subtitles without a great sound system but the music is great and distinctive. A very clever movie and innovative plot. Lots of rewatchability because it can be confusing to follow. A lot going on. Only thing missing is more of a sci-fi plot to put it over the edge. Seems like they could have added something more, but still very good along the lines of Inception.

Interesting steelbook design, I like the back a bit more than the front. The letters on the front have a gloss where as the rest of front face is a metallic non-gloss. The poster letters could have been done much nicer in the art work, how about removing them completely. As for the movie you may find it confusing but if you've seen Nolan movies in the past like Interstellar or Inception than you know what you're signing up for here.

    4K IMAX Stunner!!!

This is speaking strictly from its technical presentation. The 4K image of this movie is nothing short of spectacular and as many other Nolan movies, there’s an aspect ratio shift from normal to IMAX format. For anyone with a projector or large screen TV, prepare to be blown away. No Atmos surround but this audio track is still very impressive. Highly recommended from an Audio/Video standpoint. Beautiful Steelbook as well by the way.

Another amazing Christopher Nolan action adventure. There’s never been a movie like this. You’ll want to watch this movie several times to understand all the mind-bending action sequences. If you enjoyed Inception then you’ll love this movie. John David Washington is terrific as the protagonist. Finally, there’s a good bit of extras that explain how they made the movie. Don’t want to say anything else lest I give away spoilers.

I honestly can't believe how divisive this movie turned out to be for Nolan fans. Just speaking for myself and my own experience, I really loved this movie. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I had no issue with the sound mix, as some seemed to, and while I certainly caught more on the second viewing, I had no problem whatsoever following the plot on my first watch. My wife agrees - this may be Nolan's best film.

Incredible images razor sharp 4K! Sadly no dolby atmos or dts x. My receiver did some dts neural x up mixing that sounded pretty good, and gave it some height effects in some scenes. Dialogue is clear to understand, if you have a good center channel speaker! other wise you might need subtitles if you have a sound bar or a $300 center channel no good. My center channel I paid $950 for it so Dialogue is crystal clear.

Let’s just face facts. Mr Nolan is one of the greatest filmmakers of our time...period. With Tenet, you need to pay attention and allow yourself to be submerged in this wonderful film. The 4K blu ray rocks with stunning picture and a bombastic audio track, it will workout your home theater. I purchased the beautiful steelbook which includes the 4K disc, blu ray disc and digital code. Highly recommended. Enjoy.

Im a hugee fan of steelbooks and best buy continues to provide stellar collector's items exclusive only to their store. Shot in 65 mm, the transition fromnconema theaters to 4k blue raynwqs adequately rendered. The audio is loud, bombastic and with a well paired home theater system will provide an earth shattering experience- howeverbthe dialog could use some editing , as you often need subtitles to make out the script.
