Customers have good things to say about the HDTV Antenna's reception, ease of use, and picture quality. Many also appreciate its relatively easy installation and the number of channels it picks up. However, some customers reported inconsistent signal strength and limited range. A shorter-than-ideal cord length was also mentioned as a drawback by a few users.

Not The Best

We tried multiple positions but we do not get great connections on some of the stronger stations. We are on a hill and have pretty much direct lines to local stations.
Having said that the stations we do get are very clear. but if you have the money I would opt for a better antenna.

Works better than any inside Antenna I have purchased in the past. Get more stations than most but still not all. (Ex. no ABC) Simple to install

I researched this antenna because there were many less expensive competitors but I wanted something reliable and easy to use. I live some 45 mi from the main Houston transmitter and this antenna proved very capable. It was easy to find the best reception location (tacked to a wall behind the TV), easy to set up and easy to pull in and hold 15 HD channels. It met all my criteria.

The product works out of the box. Positioning the antenna is cumbersome. Using the location app helps. I find I have to keep repositioning for a good signal. I purchased the antenna for a network within the 65 mile radius. I can't find the signal for the network

Purchase was made to connect to small TV for my kitchen counter. It does provide reasonable channel reception that can vary depending on the time of day. Mornings and evenings seem to be tie times when reception is best. I have not been able to pick up channel 7, the ABC network channel. The NBC and CBS channels come in reasonably well. Multiple other channels are received with varying degrees of clarity. I do consider the product a better alternative to "rabbit ears".

So we have YouTube TV, so it's internet based. We wanted an antenna in case our internet went out for local news and weather.
Well, our internet went out for 5 days! We are so thankful that I had this!! Works great, did 1 scan and picked up 20 channels. My husband hooked it up with ease. I just wish the cables were a little longer

Very good; it may have been where I placed this product downstairs and it didn’t perform as good as upstairs so, the problem probably isn’t because of the antenna but, I upgraded to another Best Buy antenna. I will only buy Best Buy products; Lately, and unexpectedly, companies are going out of business and people are left trying to figure out what to do when their appliances and/or electrics need repair or replacement and the warranty on it

This antenna works as advertised. It is easy to set up. It may be necessary to try several different positions and heights on the walls, but the best position is easy to find. I was impressed with the strength and clarity of the reception. It is definitely a good replacement for cable (although no premium channels can be viewed).

Who knew this would be so easy to install? I get some fun channels that were never on cable. I only get one major network (FOX), but that might have something to do with where I have it located in the house. Suggest using command strips for ease in moving it to different locations. Using the app "channel locator" can be a little confusing.

This is a great HD antenna we are using on one of our spare bedrooms instead of connecting another cable box. Reception is good most of the time, some signal dropout. Wish this had more range.

This product is better than expected! We get great reception for our local channels. It was very easy getting the correct angle to place the antenna in our house and just as easy placing on the wall. If you are thinking about getting an antenna, this is one you should consider.

Great. Picked up 4x more channels than the previous antenna. Channels are HD, and better signal range. I had to place the previous antenna in the window to get any real signal. This antenna is mounted on the wall behind the TV and picks up so many more channels and better quality.

This antenna does what it's supposed to do. It was an easy set up. The transmissions have no interference so the picture is clear. I stream apps through my internet and mainly watch local channels with the antenna. I save money by not paying for a cable box. This was a good choice.

Antenna Works, but isn’t Very Convenient

I picked up this antenna for my semi-rural home in hopes of picking up some channels from the TV transmitters about 50 miles away.
I found that it did not work very well inside my home. I could get a couple of channels, but the orientation of the antenna was very important. If I tried mounting it vertically on the walls did not work at all. It only worked when it was lying down flat on my coffee table. Not a good solution.
I then tried mounting it outside of my home, on the side nearest the transmitters. I used the existing coax cables from an old satellite TV installation to pipe the signals to my inside TV. This worked much better, and I was able to pick up about 10 stations, but this isn’t an outdoor-rated antenna. I was using an extension cord to power the amplifier, and it’s not weatherproof at all.
I ended up not using it after all and mounted a much cheaper outdoor antenna using the old satellite mount. It picks up about 40 channels, some from a transmitter nearly 100 miles away in the same direction.
I’m rating this 4 stars because it indeed works, but don’t expect it to pick up very distant stations. If you’re closer to the transmitters, it should work very well.

Best Airwave Antenna I've Used

This has been the best airwave antenna I used, out of probably 5 antennas. The LEDs on cord help indicate placement on wall. It's thin, easy to mount with 2 Thumbtacks, and just works! Was able to assess the distant channels that have been difficult for a few years.
