Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the HDTV Antenna's reception, ease of use, and picture quality. Many also appreciate its relatively easy installation and the number of channels it picks up. However, some customers reported inconsistent signal strength and limited range. A shorter-than-ideal cord length was also mentioned as a drawback by a few users.

I have a new $2000 TV, live in Chicago 8 miles from a local CBS station broadcasting from the 2nd tallest building in the country, but this still couldn't reliably pull in the signal. I also tried it on a second TV with no luck. Returned.

Don't buy this Piece of crap! I will tell everyone that I when back to Best buy to see if I had anything to replace it and they toll me to call the company after 2 weeks from perching the antenna. The company toll me that they don't warranty the broken antenna

I was so hoping this antenna would work for me as I have ROKU and this antenna would pull in my local stations within a 70 mi radius. It is so poor, it does NOTHING! Zero! Zilch! Don’t waste your money! It’s going back to the store!

Not happy at all. Have to redo the menu almost daily because I lose my channels overnight! My channels are often fuzzy if it's windy outside. Plan on returning as soon as my car is fixed.

I live in CT. The only stations that I can pick up are from Massachusetts. Four stations from out of state. Then I call the 800# and they can’t help me. Great customer service! NOT

For an HDTV antenna this one is pretty simple to use. Just screw the cable into your TV, plug in the included amplifier (which works great) and scan for over the air channels. It's SUPER thin, making it easy to hide behind your TV. Mine didn't come with the 3M doublesided tape, but I did have some spares, and quickly stuck it on the wall. I was able to receive all the channels in my broadcast area without issue, and I haven't noticed any picture degradation in signal during rough weather. If you're looking for an Antenna, Terk delivers a quality product!

FOX TV Station Channel #24 was in negotiations with programming. Superbowl was on Sunday Feb 2 and we were not going to miss the football game. We purchased the Antenna and attached it to the TV inside. All is well.

Cannot provide a fair overall rating as I was unable to get a signal. I cannot put the blame on the antanna as I think the problem lies with me living in the country.

Antennas Sure Have Come A Long Ways...

When I was growing up using an antenna to get over the air television signals meant having some massive metal contraption on your tv or the roof of your house, and receiving blurry picture quality on a limited number of channels. Today's antennas give you a clear digital signal for a huge number of channels. The Terk THINTVV3M is a particularly good example of what a modern television antenna can do with it's easy setup, and excellent picture quality. I cut the cord on cable some time ago, and have been getting most of my entertainment from streaming services like Netflix, and Hulu. Those are great services, but I missed my tv channels. The Terk amplified HDTV antenna means I can still watch the news, sports, and many other things that streaming services don't provide with a very reasonable one time cost instead of a monthly cable bill. Every aspect of the Terk antennna is well thought out. It's paper thin, amplified, has a built in signal meter, and also has a great app to help you position your antenna to get the best reception for the channels you want to watch. It also has a long (12 foot) cable to give you more flexibility in positioning your device. Just make sure to use the app to get the best results...you will be glad you did. The best part is that the picture quality that comes through is fantastic! Truly leaps, and bounds better than the antennas from the days of old. If you are ready to cut the cord on cable, but want to make sure you still have access to popular, and important television broadcasts the Terk is the way to go. You don't have to worry about a storm knocking out your cable signal, and more importantly you still have access to the news to keep you informed in such a situation. Overall I give the Terk HDTV antenna 5 stars. If you are in the market for an antenna you should give it your consideration!

Does not work very well for how much $$ I paid. Ended up putting my old cheapy antenna back on, which has almost 100% of the channels available.
