I think I should have rather taken the trouble of installing an outdoor antenna.

WAS A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO GET IT SET UP AND WORKING.IT IS OK FOR WHAT I NEED.

Not the greatest reception, probably would not purchase again.

Nothing special works as good as a $20 one, ended up returning it.

We did not want to pay the price for traditional cable TV and thought we would give this a try. Works great. We get 22 local channels. Would recommend it!

I recommend going to terk web site to see what works in your area.

We live in a rural area and recently canceled our cable so we had to get an antenna. This antenna still gives us all of the local channels we had beforw plus it picked up some outside our normal viewing area.

Had to return because it didn't work in my area. Too many trees.

This is the same as the lower priced antenna except it is made for use of a speaker. If you are not going to use a speaker, get the lower priced antenna.

Says it gets channels reaching a 50 mile radius but does not.

Bought the amplified hoping to pick up NBC but didn't happen.

Did not work in an apartment building. Will reconsider purchase.

I picked up a lot more channels than my older model. ..and the reception is clearer and has lots less drop out interference. Happy me!

I needed to cut the cord (cable/satellite) for a little while

I live in the 35 mile ring according to Terk website but I'm unable to get channel 11. Tried calling tech support but their callback system never resulted in a call. Very disappointed, this product not worth $8 let alone the $80 I actually paid so it's going back for return!

Didn't work, not a bit - didn't expect much. But none at all

Set up wad easy and reception was great when I first set it up. Now about a month later multiple channel fuzzy reception and poor picture quality. Have to keep on changing the receptor box until the next episode of fuzzy and broken pictures on the screen. Not very good quality for the pricw.

I bought this antenna about 2 months ago and I am like 18mil away from the main radar and I tried to make it work for a week. I placed it in every room and place of my house. Finally I managed to get 7 channels but the channels were not steady as they got lost while watching and you have to rerun channel search. My wife was so annoyed with this and she trashed it while I was away. I didn't even get the chance to return to best buy. Don't buy it unless your house is in very high attitude or very close tithe main radar or station.

in zip 07417 was promised over 16 channels but got only 2.
