Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Omnidirectional Flat-Panel HDTV Indoor Antenna's reception, picture quality, and ease of use. Many also found it easy to install and appreciate its compact design. However, some customers noted that signal strength and range could be improved, and a few felt the price was high. The optimal placement of the antenna for best reception also required some experimentation.

I have used a white RCA flat panel basic antenna for the past 7 months that someone gave me. I got several channels, but couldn't get channels like PBS that I should have. I live in a major city so not far from towers. I would have to sit the RCA panel up for certain channels and move the panel flat for others. It would often pixelate, but I still got 46 channels. I decided to try a multi-directional antenna to see if I could get more. The salesperson recommended this one. Once I hooked it up, I got a good dozen more channels than I could ever get with the other one. I also don't have to move it around. It doesn't pixelate like the other. I'm thrilled. I now get 58 channels!

After reading a lot of reviews. It seems your location and the placement were the important factors in getting a good reception. So I went to my local BestBuy store and asked for the indoor antenna that no one was returning. Then I disconnected the cable and connected the Turk. My TV found over sixty stations. Some were of poor quality. A few double stations and I choose the high definition one of course. I also dropped the stations I knew I would never watch. Oh, I dropped my cable bill too.

I was thinking of trying an antenna that mounts to the roof but that was a bigger bite than I could chew. This one ease say to install and channels come on clear. I live in East Mesa, Arizona. Picked up 40-50 channels. No more expensive cable bills since I only really watch the basic channels. Stack this antenna with Netflix and Hulu and no need for expensive cable bills each month. When installing these make sure you go into your tvs settings to find the channels. These don't work like the old rabbit ears where you simply plug and play. It takes some setting adjustments in the tv itself.

I purchased this product after checking the manufacturers website according to where I lived and where the towers were located to give me the right product that I needed in my home. Channels come in crystal clear in high definition, but the only thing is where my bedroom is located I'm not facing the towers. I'm receiving whatever channels can come through based on where I have the antenna. Summit, NJ

    Terk indoor antenna

Just today installed the Terk antenna for my daughter who lives in a downstairs apartment in Pensacola. I was skeptical that being in a downstairs apartment it would work too well. To my surprise it pulled in 20 channels with all the local over the air channels coming in clearly. With Netflix and this antenna she has all the TV she needs and no cable bill. She does not care about ESPN or CNN/Fox News so she is good to go.

We're in a dead zone about 45 miles from any broadcast TV antennae. It took us about 2 months to guess on a good antenna orientation but that changes if the wind picks up or if you walk by the TV. This may work in urban centers but I think the only solution is some sort of amplified outdoor monster if you're in the boondocks.
