Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Omnidirectional Flat-Panel HDTV Indoor Antenna's reception, picture quality, and ease of use. Many also found it easy to install and appreciate its compact design. However, some customers noted that signal strength and range could be improved, and a few felt the price was high. The optimal placement of the antenna for best reception also required some experimentation.

    Fair but not worth price

I bought this around Feb. before it went on sale and just recently (1 month later) one of the regular stations doesn't come in and a couple other stations have become glitchy. Turned, moved antenna and checked all cables but nothing works - called Best Buy, sales person checked station info (nothing mentioned). Taking it back and getting something better or refund. Also, didn't come with removable amplifier.

The TV - tech guy really gave this antenna raving reviews, I asked many questions, and still he raved about how many channels he gets in Liverpool. Well here in Phoenix things are different. I could only get channels 3 & 5, The cord is not long enough to move around closer to a window.

I bought this antenna to finally cut the cord. It works great. I have it going into a splitter and feeding two tvs. I get 31-35 channels on both. Works very well for my application.

This antenna is on our main level, only several feet from a window - I can't get NBC and I live around 25 miles from Minneapolis. Do not buy this product, it is terrible and overpriced.

Recently upgraded our old tube tv to a new Samsung HD tv and we were told by a Best Buy salesman to purchase this antenna. We struggle to get our favorite channels in and the antenna is very touchy. We move it around and it is annoying. This will be going back to the store! And here is the kicker: our old tube tv with the old bunny ears gets EVERY single channel in! Plus it is in the basement. Good thing we can rely on that meanwhile!

The only channel that came in for us was a Spanish channel and it was very blurry.

    Rabbit ears work better

Rabbit ears work better than TERK, with the amplifier included with TERK or with no amplifier at all. Rabbit ears work much better with Zenith HDTV converter than TERK with the same converter. Keep looking; do not buy TERK.

I have a $30 flat panel antenna that works much better than this one, so I returned the Terk. Thought I would get one or two more local channels.
