Antenna Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend this antenna because it performs as stated. Reception is clear, it picks up several if not all digital channels available over air and the pictures are clear; install is simple, fast and preprogramming features are handy for those who are not tech savvy, just push a button or two and you're done with programming this device.

Great for some areas
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works, I am able to get the local channels; however, I live in the suburbs, but in a valley, so I don't always get great reception (picture gets pixelated). I bought this to avoid having to go up in the attic and put a big antenna up there. Unfortunately I am returning this for the stronger attic version. Honestly, if I didn't have my dad who has the ability to climb up there and install it I would just keep this one. Perfect if you are in an apartment or rental property and permanent fixtures aren't an option.

Probably OK for Large Urban Areas
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My main reason for purchasing this antenna was to get some of the local subchannels my local cable system doesn't offer. That, plus the ability to receive local channels without having to deal with signal compression and reduction in the quality of picture and sound cable systems have. While the antenna picks up some of the local channels around here, it curiously can't pick up the local ABC and NBC affiliates, even though their transmitters are all in the same general area as the CBS and Fox stations. Of course, the best antenna is outdoor, but this wasn't an option. The channels it does pick up come in well. The picture from these is better than what the local cable company offers. This antenna is probably best suited to a large metropolitan area where television station transmitters are close by. That isn't the case in this area, unfortunately. One thing to mention is that under certain weather conditions, you may be able to pick up channels that are far from your normal viewing area. This happened one warm morning a few weeks back when I was able to pick up several channels from near Gary, Indiana, well outside the normal broadcast area of the station. One can't count on this sort of thing happening on a regular basis, but it is interesting to occasionally scan for channels and see if you can get anything out of the ordinary.

Great HD antenna for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For less than half a month's cable bill, I purchased this HD antenna. I taped it to our living rooms window. We get almost 50 channels! Some we never watch (religious and foreign language). We get ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, ION, IONLIFE, PBS, and others. Sometimes a station will drop out if there is bad weather, but overall it works great.

Very good antennae.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted to put a TV in our little shed but did not want to run cable out there. Started out with a cheaper antennae and did not get many channels. Returned it for this one and it has really good reception. We get approximately 30 channels. Sometimes we have a problem with WSMV Channel 4 but otherwise we are really enjoying our TV.

Works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works, but doesn't seem to work any better than one that was half the price that I have on another tv in my home. I actually get a few less stations on this model than the cheaper one.

Great Antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TERK ultra-thin omni-directional indoor amplified HDTV antenna because I saw other reviews about it & wanted to check it out for myself. I have so many different antennas, but I can't get all my channels with them in different areas of my house, so I needed one that could catch all my favorite channels without having to adjust all the time.

Thin design is appealing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy installation and the design lead me to purchasing product. I live in a valley so the range is less than what I was hoping for, but works fine given our TV viewing habits.

Pulls in all stations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live approx. 40 miles from our local TV station antennas as the crow flies. Pulls in all stations from a ground level room in my house that is on the opposite side of my house from the direction to the antennas. The only problem I have is that I need to turn the antenna 180 degrees to pick up half the stations, then I have to turn it again if I want to watch a station from the other group.

Great antenna for all local broadcasts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna works great. We can receive about 12 different channels in our area. Small town about an hour from a major city, yet this has great reception and picture quality. Connected it to a flatscreen tv for instant channels free - no monthly fees. :)

not what we were looking for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.those in central Wisconsin will understand that Channel 12 doesn't come in on your TV very easily. We thought we could get away with an indoor antenna and get channel 12, but unfortunately we ended up with the outdoor one! This product may work great and was able to pick up extra channels that we did not previously get with our other antenna, but it just wasn't what we were looking for.

Surprising results
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a recent cord-cutter, I've spent *way* too much time researching how to "fill in the gaps". The last mile for me has been watching the occasional football game (usually on the local channels). Thus the need for this antenna. I chose this model over a (much) more expensive one at BestBuy - honestly because the more expensive one required too much assembly than I have time for. :-) This antenna took exactly 2 minutes to unpack and plug in. And boom. I had a few channels. I live in an area with plenty of hills, and some of our local channels are "on the other side of that hill". So it's been a trial-and-error experiment to find the best location for it. My experiments have yielded the following result:: "Higher is better". Get it as high as you can inside your house (don't forget you have a power cable to consider, since it's powered). Basically I purchased a 50" coax extension, and figured out a creative way to get it up to my attic (power and all). And I went from 6 channels when it was beside my TV to 23. Wow. And flawless HD quality. It's such a flashback to when I was a kit with rabbit ears and tin-foil, but honestly, it's the same. Put it up, spin it around, run your TV's auto-tuner, sping it around some more, and you're set. I'm very pleased with it. Bonus points for having it be "reversible" (white/black) for when I had it visible in my living room. (not an issue any more). Nice product.

Cut the cord!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get all the local channels! even some I didnt know were out there. Its the perfect start to getting rid of cable. I combined it with a roku box and now I can watch everything I want without paying the cable companies! Better still the local channels are in HD...better/clearer than the cable package I had.

great hdtv attenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The setup was very easy. Brought in over 30 local channels. Blends in nicely with the tv setup. Avoids the cost of expensive cable/ satelite. Works nicely when combined with netflix to provide plenty of viewing choices with very low monthly costs.

The best HD Antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went through many HD Antenna's, but none of them worked as well as this one. After finding the "sweet spot" on the wall, I was able to clearly see all the hd local channels. The only draw back is that it sometimes freezes or loses signal especially when some kind of electrical devices are turned on. I still think its a great product and does what it needs to.

Almost what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get channels 4, ,7, 7-1, 7-2,, 16, 25, 38 and 42 great. 11 is good unless the fluorescent light is on in the kitchen. Had the wiring checked and it's correct. No channel 2 at all. I've repositioned the antenna but it's not any better. Might be that our living room is in the center of the house. It' works fine for the amount of TV we watch. As long as NFL football is on the main channels my wife is happy. Otherwise we like to watch movies. Good buy for the price. Certainly beats $100 a month from service providers.
