||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to setup and get started. Its amazing to see the quality of picture. Be sure to read the instructions on where to place the unit and power it if needed. I wanted the basic channels in HD and it worked perfect!

Works good for free channels
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a semi rural area and the antenna works ok. TV pixelizes and skips once on a while. But it gave me several basic channels. So free is way better than paying a cable company! If you want to cut the cord from your cable company i wold definitely recommend this.

Yeah free TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So we did get some channels and commercials we were just not ready to go back to 1965! the channels mostly retro, shopping and religious were broadcast and received fairly well. We returned the product. The cheapest satellite programming package better suited us for the monthly price of a nice dinner out! We Have a Sony Bravura and it seemed wasted on the picture quality from the antenna system.

Great alternative to Basic Cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as I am considering cutting off my high cable bill. This is for a HD type but my TV is maybe 7 years old at least so it is not HDTV. Needless to say I get a perfectly clear picture! Just imagine if you hook it up to one of the newer TV's. I get all of the local channels for my area. Plus some extras. For example Channel 7 (ABC) has a few different versions with different programming. The antennae even searches out the HD version so if your TV is able it will probably switch to that version. I am really impressed & to me it is worth the money. I have not hooked it up to my newer television yet. If you just want basic channels I think you could save your money & not even order basic cable as this product will be more than adequate.

good signal most of the time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works better than the Terk that sits on a base, it could only get 8 channels and picture not clear on all. The ultra thin model receives 12 channels but at times loses signal if anyone walks in or out of the room, or when a plane flys over.

Not as good as others
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because of the amplification. The packing said it was good for 65 miles. I already had a Mohu Leaf which was supposed to be good for 60 miles. We found that the Leaf was able to receive two more chanels, so I returned the Terk. FYI, This was an installation in Wausau Wisconsin. Found that we could not receive Rhinelander stations with either product.

Saving me money every day
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dumped my at&t, and just bought this tv antenna for 70 bucks or so, I can't remember honestly. It was the nicest one they had, it just sits in the window sill, or you could mount it on the wall, haven't tried that yet. It works great, I live in a suburban area outside Milwaukee, WI, I get like 25-30 channels, half of which, are pointless, but eh, I got netflix and amazon. I was spending 150 a month or more on tv, and half those channels were stuff I never watched or cared to, this was an easy choice and the picture is hd. I have a really nice samsung 4k tv, and the picture is just great.

This works for my second bedroom
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not want to purchase additional cable so decided to try this. It seems to work for my basic channel needs. I recommended it to a friend who has a second home. I am not sure if they have purchased yet but do hope it works for them. The sales rep in the store was very helpful.

Nice indoor HDTV antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the TERK - Ultrathin Indoor Amplified HDTV Antenna - Black/White to make the move to having no cable TV. It worked well and picked up between 15 and 18 channels. I ended up returning the TERK and purchasing the RCA indoor antenna. The RCA was much cheaper and picks up the same number of channels.
