After buying the Terminator movies on every available format, I thought I was finally done when I bought the bluray a year or two ago. Little did I know that the picture quality was very poor. After viewing some screen caps on caps-a-holic.com, I saw quite a difference and decided to use my U&S coupon on this remastered version. The only gripe was that the special features were the same ones found on the previous version, which made me think that the studio could care less about the overall package, although they did take the time to clean up the image. I'm glad I waited and paid only $5 for a movie I've bought numerous times before. This is the last time I will buy this movie.

This is one my favorite movies, and I am glad they finally remastered this film as the other films they produced had such poor picture quality. You want the BD pack that has the words "In this newly remastered film," at the beginning of the synopsis for the film in order to know that you have the best looking film of this great movie. The only thing bad is that Cameron changed some of the special effects from the original audio of the film, and the original audio track isn't included as an option. The change is okay but I prefer the original audio track as it was in theaters.

The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a robot with skin over the top to appear human. It is a great film and a classic. The story is cool and the action is even better. You will love this film and I would buy T2 and Terminator 3 as well you will not be disappointed"

The movie that started James Cameron's epic legacy! The Terminator is an incredible mix of action, sci-fi, story, and special effects. It also aided in turning Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Lance Henrikson into iconic stars. The DVD has the trailers for the film, TV spots, deleted scenes, and commentary. Also like Terminator 2, the menus are animated and take place inside of Skynet. This is a great movie and the extras make it even better. See it!

When The Terminator first appeared on Bluray, the picture quality was just awful. There was only a very limited scenes that looked decent but overall, the picture quality was worse than a DVD upscaled. Now with this remastered, the picture quality is just stunning! Why couldn't they have done this remastering the first time? Oh well. If you like the movie, pick this version up.

This is the movie that made James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenneger. As a cyborg sent back from the future to assassinate Sarah Connor and stop her from giving birth to John Connor, the leader of the human resistance, Ahnold captivates us with his machine like intensity. A great movie and necessary viewing for one of the best films ever, Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

This is the third terminator blu-ray I have purchased and can't get tired of this movie, If I had to choose I would keep this remastered disc and put it on the digibook limited packaging, but I think that I'll keep them all for my collection anyway.

This is a great upgrade from the previous Blu-ray if you already have that. However, if you currently own the 2001 DVD release of Terminator, I would keep that with this set since this Blu-ray doesn't offer much in regards to extra features.

You've got da tons of dee action in dare you've got dee arnold in dare doing crazy stunts only da terminator can do, and den you have da time traveling and da runing and the explsions and action on top of dee action and other tings of dat nature....You can't go wrong wit da terminatior ! one of da most jaw dropping action packed movies of da 20th century!

Considering the small budget the film had, 'The Terminator' is one of the most impressive productions to ever grace the cinema. An incredible storyline, along with good acting and directing make this one of the best Sci-Fi films ever. Dvd quality is great, but seems to have dropped many of the bonus features from the original 2001 special edition."

This is one of the best movies ever, and is certainly Arnold's best. Linda H. is much better in this movie than in T2. This was real low budget, so don't expect a 5.1 soundtrack -- the film was recorded in mono. If you try to simulate surround sound from mono, you get junk, so I applaud the studio for keeping it mono.

We have seen how Cameron's nightmare become our greatest festival. I personally think Cameron's recent carnival (Avatar) is an annoying nightmare to me. As to this newest version of the Terminator, I just wish they could have waited and did it in 4k just like the remastered Robocop that is about to come out.

Arnold Schwarzenegger plays T-800, and his target (Sarah Connor) is played by Linda Hamilton, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Michael Biehn plays her protector Kyle Reese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this movie is a classic but now on blu ray it looks better than ever! this is the edition to get by far! awesome film and looks better than t2 with this release.

this is such a classic movies with not-stop action. Even though it's a lot of old school stuff, you can appreciate it as one of the greatest action movies of its time. I recommend you pick up this movie, especially on blu-ray.

"Terminator" One of the best of all time. Man this movie change the way action would be shown in a movie forever. Keeping you interested with so much. Just leaving you on the heel of your toes.

Terminator is one of the best sci-fi movies there. This is the first of the series. A great start! The early release of blu-ray is not good. This is a remastered version.
