Just completing updating to Blu-ray all of my Terminator movies. This being the first I had to have it. Genesis the latest was fantastic and it got me to go back and revisit the previous films. I would recommend this movie to a friend as it was recommended to me.

The original terminator will always be one of my favorite movies. The second terminator obviously passes this one but anyone who likes to see the past storyline of the terminator series most definitely watch this one. I definitely recommend this movie.

The film is a pure classic. The plot is well known, but I feel the first film is one of the greatest sci-fi films in history. Arnold gives a great performance, and the special effects are amazing.

What can I say? It's The Terminator! After all these years I still love this 80's movie. it's action filled, and to this day, it freaks me out to see the metal endoskeleton of the Terminator coming after Sarah at the end. Need to see for yourself!!

At times, it's almost laughable considering what can be done digitally now, but when you think about this movie being 30 years old, it's pretty amazing. Black Friday price was more than worth it.

This movie is a classic. Arnold does a great job playing the Terminator. He goes to the past to try to eliminate someone. Then another guy comes from the future to protect that person. It's a great movie that you'll want to see more than once.

There isn't much to say that hasn't already been said, but no action collection is complete without this one. After all, Arnold started it all and just as he promised...he did come back!

This blu ray release is the same as the recent Terminator remastered blu ray, which means you're getting one of the best visual restorations. Only difference is a new special feature, so this alone is not worthwhile if you own the previous release.

This movie had a sensational storyline Arnold goes back in time to shoot up the 80s, and he was absolutely indestructible to boot. Lots of swagger without having to really act at all. The only weaknesses are three small flaws. No big names in this movie which means no beauty or acting talent. The special effects look real cheesy at times. The high definition was delightful-but tended to make any cheesy special effects look double cheesy.

Nice Blu-Ray release of this classic film. It includes the digital copy so it is definitely worth picking up if you are looking for physical and digital copies. I prefer Terminator 2 over this but this is where it all started.

As a collector of blu-rays, I absolutely love this blu-ray of The Terminator. Thank you Best Buy for selling this blu-ray and making it available to collectors like myself. If you are a collector and looking for the best place to purchase The Terminator, look no further then Best Buy, you'll be glad you did. Cheers!

For its time, The Terminator was groundbreaking, and even today, still holds up. Getting the Blu-Ray version is how you get the theatrical audio track busting out of your home theater, and that's how it was intended to be viewed.

This movie is decades ahead of it's time, the attention to detail is so amazing, especially for a movie that is 30 yrs old. I definitely recommend this Masterpiece to anyone who wants to get a real taste of the sci-fi genre. A must have.

Love this movie, I had watched it when it before but it is still a great movie. The movie is clear and as good as it was when I first watched it. I recommend this movie to anyone, especially if watched before watching the newest movie to have some idea of how everything started.

Looks clearer then when I watched it when I was younger. It spawned many follow up movies and tv series, but this 1984 movie started it all.

James Cameron's sci-fi Classic is finally given a fantastic looking HD transfer after the countless disappointing releases of the past. Though this particular release comes with an exclusive cardboard cover attached to the actual case with glue. In addition to this cover looking terrible, the glue also damages the case when removed. But still a must add to collections nevertheless.

Big Arnie's breakout role, and James Cameron's first step to becoming a bajillionaire. Full of great ideas and excellent action. Still one of my favourites and definitely worth adding to your collection.

I’m upset that they stopped carrying the Blu-ray and I was forced to buy the DVD copy. I only bought it so I can watch the Terminator trilogy with my kids.

Best terminator movie out there then T2. This is what’s our future will look like with AI. Sacres me but amazing movies amazing made in 84 wasn’t even alive and such a classic love it.

I'd never seen the original terminator, but grew up hearing various quotes from it. This movie definitely lived up to its hype, made me go on a Terminator binge after watching because I was so hooked.
