After a glut of releases on Dvd and Blu, Camerons first blockbuster finds its definitive edition, even if its sporting a "modern" color palette (even the case is red). Seriously though, the colors have been tweaked and the film barely looks 80s now. But with this good of a transfer (soo many details! So clear!) its hard to complain, but some will grumble.

A dark beginning from future to past... The Terminator is out to kill.

This was an excellent movie and was part of an excellent series. I purchased this Blu-ray to complete my Blu-ray and Digital Copy collection of the Terminator series. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Who doesn't love this movie? It's the one that started it all for the Terminator series, and it's excellent to watch on Blu-Ray. Always entertaining and exciting, and a great set-up for future films in the franchise.

This may be the movie that launched Arnold Schwarzenegger into the mega-star he became. A great futuristic sci-fi action movie that launched a franchise that is still going today. Though the special effects of today's movies are better, it's hard to beat the story and action of the original.

This movie is one of the all time great Sci-Fi / Action movies. The plot, writing and visuals provide non-stop entertainment. The action is non-stop. Arnold nails his role as the futuristic robot, killing machine.

The concept is great. The story is excellent. While some of the special effects are not the best, this is the one that started it all.

Old movie. Good story . Bought it for a gift. Receiver liked it.

Everyone should see this movie. Such an iconic film for Arnold and for Linda Hamilton. Although it's one of those wild situations where the sequel Terminator 2 Judgement Day is miles better.

The Terminator remastered Blu-ray looks better than it has ever looked. There are so many details now revealed due to the remastering process, this is the version to own

What else can be said but that this is the film that sparked a franchise that has spanned 3 decades. While the film itself might not live up to what you remember, it can't be argued that Terminator set up a universe that fans long to return to again and again. For the Price Best Buy is giving these away for, there's no reason not to jump on board again.

The Terminator is a classic in every way. From the scenes in the future, the action throughout, cast of characters, and the soundtrack this was one of the best movies of the 80's.

I'm glad MGM reissued this film. The previous Blu-ray transfer was awful. This transfer is a marked improvement. Would have preferred that they ported over all the bonus features from the 2004 DVD release.

What can you say about Terminator that hasn't been said already. The great thing with this Blu-ray you get stills from the movie inside which are about post card size and very cool to own.

This blu ray makes this 30 year old movie look new again. It was like watching it for the first time. I saw it in movie theaters when it was first released and has been one of my favorite movies.

I enjoyed this movie when it was first released, have watched it a number of times on network television....I can now enjoy at my leisure. It is a fun movie with an improbable premise, just fun.

That terminator is out there, it can't be bargained with, it can't be reasoned with, it doesn't feel pity or remorse or fear, and it absolutely will not stop...EVER, until you are dead!
