Great way to redeem himself after a lackluster 'Lasers' album and decent 'F&L 2' . Lupe Fiasco needs to change his name to Lupe the Barbarian, because after listening to the track 'Mural', he completely murders the track with bar after bar of brilliance. The man is a lyrical genius and we're only one track in. This pretty much sets the stage for the rest of the album. A total of 16 tracks with 4 instrumentals that play the part of the seasons of the year. These seasons segment the albums in a certain tone. The features on the album are well placed and not forced. If I had to choose a standout track, it would be all of them. Lupe doesn't miss a beat. Definitely a must buy for someone who enjoys great music and thought provoking lyrics.

my experience with in store pick up is always a little off for Best Buy. I'm not sure why, but I almost always have to stand in a longer line and not really be taken care of for a while. it's like in store pick up is not a priority or something. Maybe it's just the locations I have gone to, but that has been my experience. But... that's not what this review is for. it's for the product... which is AMAZING! this is the best hip hop album I've experienced in quite some time. I also picked up B4 DA$$ that same day and I've listened to it a couple times but this has been in my cd player NON STOP! And I usually download music but when it's an artist I really like. I like physical. so anywho... I give this album a raving review and Lupe has finally come back the form of FOOD AND LIQUOR and THE COOL!

    Lupe Back

After breaking on to the scene with such great records as Food & Liquor and The Cool, momentum came to a halt with Lasers and the controversy surrounding it. And while the next album , Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album, was a good effort, that special something that made the first two albums great were missing. Enter Tetsuo & Youth. I'm glad to say that this is a great return to form for Lupe. This album has everything from bangers and poppy songs to the witty bars and heavy concepts that Lupe is known for. This is a definite must buy for Lupe Fiasco fans.

    Return to Glory

I have every Lupe Fiasco to date and was a bit disappointed with Lasers and less disappointed with the Great American Rap Album. However, I find Tetsuo & Youth to remind me of the Lupe from Food & Liquor and The Cool but still ever evolving. Each track is heavy hitting with a few tracks approaching the 7-8 minute mark but you never feel bored if the song should have ended. Lupe returns to what fans expect of him and I definitely recommend new and continuing Lupe fans to listen.

    Arguably Lupe's Best work

Was heavily anticipating this album from Lupe even though he most certainly has been the most frustrating rapper and perhaps artist of my generation. So glad he finally came through for us loyal fans with this amazing body of work (No pun intended) that can actually challenge his opus, 2007's The Cool. Guess it really was worth getting blocked on Twitter by him.

I've been a Lupe fan since I first heard Daydreamin'. This album is definitely worth a listen. I checked it out on YouTube to see if I was interested, bought it after just one playthrough! Intelligent lyrics and not a single track deserves to be skipped.

After much struggle with his record label Lupe finally delivered his masterpiece...and it is a true work of art. Anyone who can appreciate writing with depth will love this album. It's like a good book that you want to read multiple times to get more from it. Classic is a term too often used... This album is a masterpiece.

    Lupe being Lupe

This album goes back to Lupe just being himself. He has a jazzy sound throughout similar to how Kanye tried to be soulful with his Dark Twisted Fantasy. Some of the songs were a bit different sounding and a lot of them were quite lengthy. Can't pinpoint which one stands on its own as they are all united and well done.

I did a lot of comparison shopping before deciding on the Bissell. I love it! Easy assembly...easy use....and great suction. This is my first bagless but the ease of emptying the container and actually seeing all the dirt makes me wonder why I took so long. Not to mention great price!

Great album from a great artist. While it doesn't feel as focused as his previous albums, Fiasco nevertheless manages to inject consciousness into the genre with this polarizing latest entry. If you like Lupe you'll like this albulm, but if you didn't before there's nothing here to change your mind.

Another solid release from Lupe. Prisoners 1 & 2 is an 8min lyrical rip. Deliver is a solid track leading into Madonna. He may hit and miss on beat selection but Lupe is a lyrical mastermind. Verses on point with ea song having a theme to go on. If he is in your area, you must check a live show.

This is definitely worth a listen. Especially if you're a Lupe Fiasco fan. His previous 2 albums werent great at all. Lasers was subpar maybe 2 good songs. Food and Liquor 2 was okay. But this is his return to making the music he wants and its amazing.

Love this CD. A couple of the songs didn't seem to fit the CD in my opinion, but I can still play this CD without skipping. Lot of lines that you will understand when you first hear it and many you will catch in later listens.

This is an album that challenges the artist and the listener to push past any boundaries we think exist for hip-hop. Lupe Fiasco has crafted an album that will certainly be enjoyed, discussed, and dissected for a long time.

Music with content, style, flavor and dignity to name a few. Solid Album all around, without a doubt a great purchase. If whoever is reading this hasn't heard the album, I recommend you giving Mr.Fiasco a shot. Rock on

Production is tight. Lyrics are strong. Everything flows so well together. One of the best albums I've ever heard. With all the bad hip hop being played on the radio, Lupe delivers something original and fresh.

I admit didn't even realize Lupe had a new album coming out but when I seen the ad on bestbuy I copped it on that release day. He delivered. I could nitpick but for the sake of not typing an essay Lupe fans buy you would not be disappointed.

Tetsuo & Youth was Lupe Fiasco's latest CD since his 2012 Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1. I personally only liked 2 or 3 songs. Hopefully Lupe can redeem himself on his next coming up album.
