Solid calculator for business functions, and the price made it a Best Buy

I bought this calculator for my finance class to use primarily to calculate mortgage interest rate, time to maturity, etc. This calculator is excellent for this purpose. However I find that my TI-30X IIS has a much easier to use interface and has a better feel overall for all other calculations. However, this does get the job done and I would recommend this to anyone who needs it for academic/testing purposes.

I purchased the BA II Plus after using the TI 83 for many years. Many classmates/coworkers repeatedly suggested that it was much easier to use, so I finally caved. Overall, it gets the job done, but it has a slight delay in comparison to the TI 83 and it hasn't won me over.

I do finance tutoring. I've taught students with both calculators. I own both calculators myself.
TI Cons
The TI is not nearly as intuitive as people claim. The complexity it adds, does make it a little easier to check errors in your calculations. However, this also leads to erroneous answers if you aren't careful about resetting your registers.
TI Pros
It's inexpensive and it's durable.
