Based on a true life incident of off duty American soldiers confronting terrorists on a train through Paris, France. Plenty of action and suspense. What made the movie better than most, for me, was the employment of obviously untrained or little trained actors. The movie had a sense of reality and believability not always captured through highly trained actors. It was shot in a semi - documentary style which I think contributed to the movie’s believability. Very entertaining movie.

Saw this movie in the theater and then bought the Blu-ray to see it again. Then I read the book. Clint Eastwood stuck to the book. What I really was fascinated by was Eastwood's use of the three heros as well as several of the other actual participants in the event. Be sure to watch the bonus video to see the interviews of the 3 American friends that took down the terrorist and saved MANY lives on that train. The French government decorated them for their valor. They are true examples of what the U.S. military turns out to protect our country.

Unusual movie in which the 3 main characters are played by the real-life people they portray. Interesting character development, more than a simple retelling of the events on the train.

My wife told me about this story and once the movie came out I had to see it. Clint Eastwood directed it and used the actual true characters from the event and they did a great job. It’s just a shame we have this type of people who feel they need to try to kill others for some religious belief. But it was a great thing to find this kind of bravery still in the world to protect others when we need them. Awesome movie.

Such a good movie with good storytelling. What makes it awesome was that they had the actual people from the event play themselves for an extra layer of authenticity.

It’s about a true story of three brothers that had some trouble in their early childhood but turned around their life’s to save others.

This real life story takes time to build, but it is worth it in the end. It is the story of three American heroes in France who save the day and a lot of people's lives in the process. The ending scenes are very heart warming and will likely bring a tear to your eyes. I recommend this for all audiences.

True story wasn't the greatest choice for Clint Eastwood to use You original men for the film job is done subpar.

I liked most of it. There were parts that got a little boring and some that got a little confusing.

Movie was a little bit of a let-down, but I guess there was only so much you could do with story.

Use of real people involved is interesting. The assault was exciting. Bravo to the brave Americans!

It is the Paris people do not see often or at all, Good action. Good writing. Worth watching.

I got this movie for my husband for Christmas. He really enjoyed the movie

Action packed & dramatic, but yet at the same time tells the honest story of friendship, how to build character, how stand up for one another, & most of all, how to stand up for what is right. I very much recommend this movie!

Movie is good, but I thought would be focused more on the event.

I'm not much into documentary movies but this was pretty good.
