i remember seeing the trailer for this movie in theaters, and thought it was supposed to be a mainly action film that would normally leave you at the edge of your seat. the only reason im giving this 2 stars is because of what it represents. being a clint eastwood film, i was severely disappointed. it was boring and uneventful. the action portion and climax of the movie lasted no more than 10 minutes. the majority of runtime was the trip these 3 men took, which led to the situation on the train. think of it as a recording of a road trip. thats all this movie was. i regret buying this movie.

I enjoyed the amount of backstory that led to the actual incident. I read reviews where people complained about the lack of action, but let's be real... there was not much action to be had. This was an isolated incident. Not a war. Clint Eastwood did a great job with their backstories, and I enjoyed this immensely!

To preserve a heroic moment of history with its actual heroes is executed with brilliance by Clint Eastwood. THE 15:17 TO PARIS would be another film depicting heroism that stopped an act of terror, but to tell it as a personal story with the actual individuals involved made it a memorable event!

This is more of a docudrama, to my way of thinking. Was very interesting to see the actual story as it happened. The terrorist event was very quickly over, once these guys got going.

Clint Eastwood does it again with another movie based on a real story. This time using the actual men who were the heroes in this story. Don't miss it.
