Great buy !
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Good old courageous friends who took action in what could’ve been a potentially deadly situation! I was truly impressed with the non actors portraying themselves in this true story.. really good movie I’m surprised that I hadn’t seen it before now!
I would recommend this to a friendRated 4 out of 5 stars
Great action / hero movie
||Posted .Owned for 11 months when reviewed.Based on a true life incident of off duty American soldiers confronting terrorists on a train through Paris, France. Plenty of action and suspense. What made the movie better than most, for me, was the employment of obviously untrained or little trained actors. The movie had a sense of reality and believability not always captured through highly trained actors. It was shot in a semi - documentary style which I think contributed to the movie’s believability. Very entertaining movie.

The Real Hero's Tell Their Story
||Posted .The story of three friends that grow up together, stay in touch over the years and meet for a vacation in Europe. Just 3 friends who rose to the challenge when it presented itself and saved hundreds of commuters on the 15:17 to Paris. Filmed in actual locations with actual participants of the events Clint Eastwood brings his excellent story telling to this movie.

Great Storytelling!
||Posted .I enjoyed the amount of backstory that led to the actual incident. I read reviews where people complained about the lack of action, but let's be real... there was not much action to be had. This was an isolated incident. Not a war. Clint Eastwood did a great job with their backstories, and I enjoyed this immensely!

Delightfully surprised
||Posted .When I read that it was about a true story and that the actual participants would be playing the roles I thought, 'ok, bet this is going to be a dud." I was very wrong the story and the 'actors' were really great, and the director kept the film moving at very enjoyable pace.
I would recommend this to a friendRated 4 out of 5 stars
Another Eastwood Winner
||Posted .Clint Eastwood does it again Based on true facts this is a good film. He used a real train when filming inside shots. He also used the real men involved in the incident on the train instead of Hollywood actors. If you like Eastwood films you will enjoy this one.
I would recommend this to a friendRated 4 out of 5 stars
Pleasantly surprised
||Posted .I read the book and was looking forward to seeing the movie. It was very interesting to have the real-life participants play themselves. While they aren’t professional actors, they nonetheless did a credible job. Overall, it was much better than it’s IMDB score.
I would recommend this to a friendRated 4 out of 5 stars
Powerful true story
||Posted .This is such a powerful true story about true courage and bravery and it is brilliantly directed by Clint Eastwood. I am so thankful to all the military and first responders out there making the world a safer place for us all
