Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes is one of my favorite super hero cartoons, full of great writing, good characterizations, and a world that is accurate to the world of the Marvel comics. This DVD set includes the last 12 episodes from Season 2, including the show’s final episode. There are some very good episodes in this collection, allowing for a fun watch for families or any classic Marvel fan. 12 episodes for the price sold at, which I believe was $14 at the time, provides a solid value per episode compared to buying the episodes on a digital streaming service. Its also nice to have this DVD box on a shelf near some of the early MCU movies, creating a nolstalga for the good days of Marvel entertainment. Only complaint would be the lack of meaningful bonus features; it also wouldve been nice if this collection was available on Blu-Ray. Overall, highly recommend.

This season is a don't miss at all, really is an amazing finale on the Avengers adventures.

The series finale of "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" is finally on DVD. This release has the final dozen episodes, plus the bonus featurettes Mission Reports, Heroic Humor, and Greatest Hits. The writers of the show once again do a great job combining classic Avengers tales with some of the newer stores from the comics. These episodes cover some of the fallout from the Skrull invasion, Annihilus, Ultron, Yellowjacket, Red Hulk, a two-parter on the Kree homeworld, and the coming of Galactus. I really wish the show hadn't been cancelled. It just moves effortlessly from smaller scale character beat stories to cosmic scale conflicts. Don't get me wrong. I love what we got, but I would LOVE to see their take on the Inhumans, or see more B-list characters like Moon Knight made an appearance. The only negative I can think of is that there aren't many bonus features. I wish they would've included the "Marvel Mash-ups" that aired after the episodes. Even the "How to Draw" segments would've been nice. All in all it's a solid end to a great show. Excelsior!

The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes volume 6 was an excellent series featuring Iron Man and the Avengers! Making the Avengers stories centered around and lead by iron Man was a stroke of genius. Clearly, Tony Stark is the linchpin of the Marvel Universe both in the comics, the movies, and in the cartoons. The best part was probably the best Galactus story transferred to cartoon. Highly, recommend the series. My son and I only wish that the theme song/title sequence was not changed (better one is featured in volumes 1 thru 4) not allowing the great theme song to be played in its entirety.

The finale to a great cartoon powerhouse series. Loved it.

the episodes on volumes 5 and 6 of the DVDs are out of order from which they aired so you'll have to look up online what order they aired so you can avoid any confusion or spoilers as you're watching them from the DVDs.

This was a great animation. I enjoyed watching it.

Marvel should put the episodes in order so new viewers of the show can know exactly what's going on.

Again, I am a huge Marvel fan and this DVD did not disappoint. Animation and action at every turn.

i like action cartoons base on comic book characters. dc, marvel at the best of the best.

My nephew loves the Avengers and watches the cartoons over and over again!

This was a good cartoon that followed the Avengers storyline.

This is one of the few Marvel comics animated series that is on par with the DC Batman/Superman/Justice League that is very entertaining for the whole family.

What can i say its the Avengers need i say more? Great action

Action, great storytelling, an array of characters... this cartoon has it all, but overpriced for the amount of episodes.
