I only have 2 problems with this set. 1st problem is the resealable plastic cases that they put the individual albums in seem like a good idea on paper. But the sticky part used to reseal them gets caught on just about everything. I would have preferred the normal non-resealable plastic album covers. Then you just take a exacto knife and cut the album open and leave the plastic on the album... 2nd problem is the price. I ordered from Best Buy because if I have a major problem I can just take them to my local Best Buy to return without having to pay return shipping like you will have to do with Amazon. But I have found that you can get these albums cheaper elsewhere... Other than these gripes this set is Perfect where it really counts. Thats the albums themselves and the music. I thought I might not like mono. That it would not be spacious enough. Boy was I wrong. In many ways they sound better and more powerful than the Stereo set which I also own... If you love The Beatles music and own a decent Turntable you need to buy this set...

Haven't played any of the records yet. I'm not exactly an "Audiofile" that can listen to a vinyl recording and pull out things that the ordinary person never hears, but, I can tell the difference between Stereo and Mono. And, I would say that it really is a matter of preference to the individual as far as whether or not the recording is in either, or. As for me, I like both, but, to hear these in Mono, that most of them were recorded in, is phenomenal and I can't wait!! I just want to upgrade my turntable, first! The packaging is so awesome! Kinda wish the box itself was a little thicker and the seams will hold up over the next 30 years, but, we shall see. I will most likely not be around to check on it, but, my kids will! And, this set will be theirs to have (Geez, I hope they don't sell it for $20 at a yard sale?!). Each LP is shrinkwrapped AND sitting in a clear plastic storage sleeve, as well. Even the book is shrinkwrapped! Best Buy packed the box on the outside extremely well to make sure no damage would occur, GOOD JOB!! We all know how gentle UPS is?!

Always looked for a copy of "The Beatles" (White Album) MONO LP when I was younger. Picked up Mono Box CD Set when it came out. So when I saw Vinyl Mono Box Set was coming out I had no choice but to get my copy.

Best Buy price match in full effect. This is a must have.

I've listened to vinyl as my primary source of music for 35 years. I've got around 2000 lps that I listen to all the time. I have to say, this is probably the most significant release in my lifetime. I said that before the box arrived and now that I've heard it, I'm sure of it. What could possibly top this? Why Bestbuy is charging $399 for this kinda baffles me. It can be had much cheaper.
