The Bible: In the Beginning/The Robe is a great collection of the Greatest story ever told and best on Blu-Ray.

It is uncommon for me to "UPGRADE" my existing DVD collection to BLUE-RAY. However, I deem this duo of movies to be well worth the purchase. Both of these films are "A-PLUS" quality. "THE BIBLE" has my personal favorite George C. Scott's portrayal of Abraham. His acting is brilliant, and all other actors in the film are fabulous. When I was a child, my entire family watched "THE ROBE" every year at Easter, when it was telecast in "prime time" on regular TV, and many MILLIONS of people watched it every year. Most people have NEVER EVEN HEARD OF "The Robe," which is brilliantly acted by Richard Burton and comparable acclaimed actress Jean Simmons. It is fiction, but is an "A-PLUS" story that all Christians should appreciate. I want my sons and grandchildren to see these movies in BLU-RAY -- so that their impact on my loved ones will not be "diminished" by being rather old movies. I highly recommend this set. You won't be disappointed.

The quality of these movies are exceptional all the way around. The acting, picture quality and depicting the subject matter seems so authentic. Provo Best Buy for carrying Christian/Religious movies. Not everyone like to see gore, violence and graphic sex in movies put out the past decade to present.

My wife and I watched these movies before, and we were wondering how to obtain them because they were not readily available. We were pleasantly surprised to find both the these movies here. As for the movies themselves, they are definitely movies to watch during either Christmas or Easter.

Worth the price.Nicely restored without loosing the original touch.Great picture quality and excellent sound effects. Totally great buy for less price.Thank you Best Buy.

Bought this for the family to enjoy and yes I’d recommend this to anyone God only knows we need this more than ever in the times we’re living in

We took three nights to enjoy this set of movies. We enjoyed the interpretation that we watched. It was based on the Bible and did a good job.

As the summary says, the BIble is the better half. The Robe is a classic, but the Bible is awesome. A good purchase for the value.

Excellent double feature . He cannot go wrong with any of these films very well acted look great in Blu-ray I highly recommend it.

I love to stay in my pajamas in bed all day, watching those classics, among others! But The Robe has a special part in my heart!!!

I am a believer so two movies for five dollars was great haven’t seen it yet lol but sure it’s all great

If you want to learn a little bit about god watch this movie . If not good luck to you it’s your loss .

I have loved both of these movies since I was a child and I am glad to have found them together

it helped me to under the bible stories more and i'm looking forward to getting more video's

Two classic movies in one package. Two of the great Biblical spectaculars.

THE BIBLE movie itself is excellent,but the only extra is the original preview of it.In my opinion some audio commentary and making of feature would of have been nice.THE ROBE blu ray is above excellent.It has many extras that help you appreciate this fine film even more.I paid $5.99 for both of these films together and to me that is a BARGAIN that CANNOT BE BEAT.My Brother took me to see "THE BIBLE (IN THE BEGINNING)"at the Rialto theatre when it first came out and now I own it for probably less than the price of our theatre tickets from the 1960s.THE ROBE used to be on the late show EVERY EASTER EVE during the 1970s.I would try to stay up and watch it but would usually doze off to sleep,NOW I OWN IT AND IT IS BETTER ON BLU RAY THAN THE LATE SHOW.By the way as I was born in Louisville,Ky.,it is nice to see Victor Mature( He was from Louisville,Ky.Too) in a movie role.

I love this movie and it plays really well on my blue ray dvd player.
