It’s about time some classic Hitchcock films are getting some fantastic 4k STEELBOOK’S’, and the one’s for REAR WINDOW, PSYCHO, VERTIGO & THE BIRD’S (from Best Buy) are top notch! ERY Highly Recommend! A+++

A great film, obviously a little outdated as far as cgi, but a classic horror film nonetheless that I highly recommend.

Alfred Hitchcock's THE BIRDS gets the UHD 4K steelbook release and it comes out a winner all around. Now, THE BIRDS was previously released on 4K in a box set with other Hitchcock movies in the 4K format, but, it did not have a standalone set. It also had previously a Blu-ray steelbook release with different artwork on it. After the initial run of that, the prices went way up, so I am very happy to see this arrive. The movie itself is just another brilliant take on Mr. Hitchcock's movie making style and suspense. It looks and sounds fantastic now in the 4K format. I have never seen it look this good on the 4K TV and player. All special features have been brought over from the previous releases. This also has the digital copy of it, if you collect those. Well done!

A wealthy San Francisco socialite pursues a potential boyfriend to a small Northern California town that slowly takes a turn for the bizarre when birds of all kinds suddenly begin to attack people. Starring Rod Taylor, Tippi Hedren, and Jessica Tandy I consider this milestone to be the pioneer in the 'nature revolts' sub genre. For reasons that remain unexplained throughout the entire movie, birds spontaneously launch aggressive attacks against the inhabitants of Bodega Bay. Hitchcock's nickname 'The Master of Suspense' is justified through many individual moments here in this film. The film's brilliant anti-climax, with thousands of birds just sitting and suspiciously waiting outside the Brenner house is legendary and imitated copious of times. "The Birds" presents a truly ominous atmosphere that still manages to send cold shivers down your spine. Don't miss it.

I first saw this movie when it came out when I was 10 years old and it scared the heck out of me. The thing that always disturbed me about that this movie was you never really understand what made the birds act the way they did. No resolution. If you like an edge of your seat thriller, “The Birds” fits the bill. Alfred Hitchcock was a master and it is on full display hear.

Classic Hitchcock looks and sounds wonderful in 4k/blu-ray. I love the steelbook packaging and hope the Hitchcock reissues continue in this format.

This is another classic film by Hitchcock. The first Psycho.. the flim had a great cast and great plot. Looked great on 4k

It a movie that even my grand kids can see and like it . Movie keep on the edge, but not so scary to give them up all night.

Love this movie and it’s never looked better on home video. This is the same disc included in Universal’s recent Hitchcock Classics 4K UHD box set. The Steelbook packaging really adds a sense of prestige that this film certainly is worthy of. Highly recommended.

good classic movie! I watched this movie when I was a little boy. So I'm glad that I got the 4K.

The film is perfect. The 4K presentation is stunning, if you discount the visual effect sequences that by their very nature will always look a bit shaky. The steelbook is stunning. This is one of the best looking Steelbooks of all time.
