Wow, I'll always miss Danny, he had an amazing voice, but this new CD proves that Asking Alexandria is not going anywhere for a long time. Still haven't popped it out of my CD player in my car yet.

If you like this band, then you would probably like this cd as much as my daughter currently does.

AA wanted to get back to "Stand Up and Scream" or "Reckless and Relentless" with this album and you can definitely see those roots showing here. It's the bands first album with Denis on vocals and he does a tremendous job. This album has heavy, dark, fast, slow, and uplifting sounds to it. Wether you're a fan of their other material definitely check The Black out

Absolutely love it. Was a little skeptical about the new lead singer cause change can be hard with someone that's been the same for so long. But the songs and music are amazing. I listened to the cd on repeat for about a week straight after I receive it. If you love asking Alexandria definitely a must for your collection .

While Denis Stoff has proven to be a strong replacement as the new vocalist for Asking Alexandria, this album seems to be a case where the band is lost in trying to establish a new identity. The album begins with a very heavy track "Let It Sleep," but then seems to get lost in itself with various tracks that almost seem different for the sake of simply being different, such as "The Black." The band definitely produced some strong work on this record, but it might not click with the listener immediately, and could require multiple playthroughs to really set in. Ultimately, a longtime AA fan would likely love this album. However, potential new fans may be thrown off by the seemingly experimental nature of this release.

This was a hard album to buy since the departure of Danny left this band in the search for a new singer. I am so glad I purchased it now though, the new singer fits this band and they don't lose anything at all. Great album, must buy if you are a TRUE Asking Alexandria fan!!!!!

You could really hear the old singers disinterest in the last album, the new singer brought them back to their metalcore roots, though I'm not sure they needed one as the guitarist and founder has the best song on the album when he sings

This started off as a birthday gift for my brother but turned into me listening to the album and liking it and even seeing the band live! A great buy for any screamo, emo fans who enjoy bands such as Bullet for my Valentine.

Even with the new singer Asking Alexandria sounds like a mature version of first album era Asking Alexandria. This album is tight, well-produced, and reminds us of everything we grew to love about AA.

This CD has been on repeat since I purchased it on the day it was released. Wasn't sure how I'd like it without Danny but it exceeded my expectations. 2/3 of the songs are great.

If you're a fan of the band pre-death to destiny then this is a good choice. The black is album very similar but very different from their other releases. Go ahead and check it out. It's worth it.

Asking Alexandria has released this album with a new vocalist in Denis and it's a good one! It has the classic AA sound, as well as a new approach to the future of AA.

This bands music continues to grow and improve with every album. I generally don't listen to much of this style music, but their songs really appeal to me.

So this whole album is great. Sad that Dennis is already gone after only being in the band a year. Will never see these songs played live! But one of their best albums.

Since the departure of their old vocalist this band has stepped it up . Nice riffage and pummeling drums !! And a vocalist that can do the Highs , cleans and gutters !!

I know to "purists" this isn't AA's best offering but for a first effort with a new singer, I think this is a solid CD. Good mix of heavy and melodic, Denis delivers.
