Great performances by the two leading kids and fun direction raise the level of this not-so-scary suspense film. Yes, the cops seem surprisingly ok following some, let’s say, interesting witnesses and I would have loved to know more about the Grabber to explain some of his actions, but I had lots of fun.

So happy I picked this up at a great price during the Black Friday sales. Really enjoyed the suspense and overall just an awesome movie that I would highly recommend.

black phone was so scary i had to see it before i let my son see it he likes scary movies as long as I'm there watching it with him he's turning 15 oct 30th day before Halloween and he wants me to watch it with him very scary crazy movie i would of gave it a five only because it could of been better.

Great plot. Ethan Hawke is a great actor and plays the villain perfect. Suspenseful more than gory. Has lots of scenes that will jump out at you but it’s a fast moving storyline.

This is one awesome intense film. Black Phone is a great short story by Jole Hill that comes to the screen like few movies do. They did this story justice. Very highly recommended.

Probably the best horror film of 2022. The story is excellent and layered. It may not be as violent or gory for some horror fans, but it is an engrossing watch.

Ethan Hawk has embraced the role of the Grabber. He brings a certain humanity to this inhuman monster. Fine interpretation of the original Joe Hill short story.

What a thrilling suspenseful movie! Fun to watch and keeps you glue to your seat. The acting is brillant- especially the two young leads. Highly recommended.

I was really looking forward to this movie and it did not let me down. The acting is phenomenal, especialy by the kids. Great ending as well!

One of the best horror movies of 2022, based on a short story by Stephen King's son, Joe Hill, it definitely has the shine of a King novel. Ethan Hawke is great as The Grabber. A must watch for 2022, not your typical horror movie.

Very creepy horror flick that should have been released on 4K UHD. Until then, this very solid blu ray will have to suffice.

I’m not much of a thriller movie person but this one in theaters was amazing I had to get in physical. Sucks there’s no 4K scan.

The Black Phone was great because it didn't rely on jump scares and it's the little things this movie did that made it freaky.

Love that it's set in the 70's. Seriously this decade seemed to have a lot of murders with vans. You'll love this film.
