    Teddy Pendergrass was the consummate R&B crooner. He has that strong gospel R&B sound in his voice that made him a stand out in any song he sang. Combined with the writing and arranging of Gamble & Huff from Philadelphia International Records (The Philly Sound) and you have some of the best R&B music of its day. This best of set captures his biggest hits. If you're a fan ya can't go wrong.
