Eric pays homage to JJ with respect. This is another example of how one great man pays due to the man whose style and emotion helped Clapton grow as a songwriter.

this album is a great collection of talent celebrating great song writing of one of their revered brothers . Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson and others give honest and passionate performances of JJ Cale's writing and performing.

Great introduction to JJ Cale for fans of his music but not familiar with Cale himself. The musicians stay true to the songs while the artist adds his own touch to each song. Highly recommended for fans of Cale and Clapton

This is a 16 song tribute to JJ Cale featuring Mark Knopfler, John Mayer, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, and Don White. Every song on this CD is great.

JJ Cale's music is excellent. Those artists who have achieved fame and success offer this tribute to the man who defined the genre they perform.

Although I enjoyed the album, JJ cale's style was much looser and imperfect and ultimately more enjoyable. Still, this is a nice tribute by a group of perfectionists that present the songs at a high sonic level.

This CD plays JJ Cales songs thru the hands and voices of a small cast of great musicians like Eric Clapton. This CD is one of my favorites.

For the sophisticated music lover, whether it be blues, country, or simply oustanding composition, this is the best CD I've heard in years.

I JJ's music and Eric, Tom the rest show how they've been influenced by one of the best songwriter and players. I only wish there was more!

Musicians playing tribute to great artists is a hit n miss proposition, but this one is right on the mark. Thanks so much to Eric Clapton.

Clapton and friends pay tribute to JJ Cale with this cd. Several songs stand out, but the first 3 tracks are the strength of the album.

A solid album by Clapton and friends. Starts off strong and continues through the end of the album. Plenty of guest stars. Only a few songs really stand out, but any new Clapton is welcome.

We've been collecting Clapton stuff for over 15 years so, even though I downloaded this on iTunes, we needed the CD as well.

Listened to this at a friend's house. Had to have my own! Lots of great musicians on here in addition to Clapton!

The musicianship is outstanding. The music flows and makes you feel a part of what Eric Clapton was trying to get across.

If you are really an Eric Clapton fan you have to love and appreciate this tribute to one of his influences JJ Cale.
