Ok game enemies spawn too random from behind. Too limited in space to carry items. To many enemies can one kill you and not able to escape from harm.

The game is better than some are giving credit, I actually enjoyed it. Seems long enough IMO, maybe 12-14 hrs on first play thru. My only grip is...even on lowest difficulty it's no that easy, so be prepared if your only looking for a quick story run. Also, please don't play around small children. This game is very grewsome and has some violent kills and death scenes. there

I would say they fix a lot of issue on their last update but still it's not good as dead space remake

Great game with lots of action , can be scary some scenes.

Gorgeous but doesnt hold the same charm of the games it borrows from. Combat in particular will make or break your enjoyment of this game, do not expect the same treatment as Dead Space. If you can get past the frustrations there is a lot to like here, and definitely a lot to visually behold.

Loved it a game that utilizes the PS5 all around great game.

As someone who was hyped for this game in all honestly, overall it was mid or mediocre. The game takes about 7 - 8 hours to finish. The characters are nothing special, the story is forgettable, the soundtrack is lacking, the gameplay is repetitive, etc. The graphics were the only good thing. Maybe its the start of something great later on but as of now theres nothing major. I would wait for it to be on sale. You cant even equip the skins for Jacob which is a bug. FYI I pre ordered the game for the biophage skin which best buy canceled on release but then a couple of days ago i got an email with the code for it lol.

I was really looking forward to this, a spiritual successor to Dead Space from some of the original team? You’d think it would go over better, but repetitive combat, a very poorly told story that ends on a sequel bait cliffhanger, and just generally unremarkable enemy designs.

Was nothing spectaculat about this game. Was a straight forward shoot, dodge, run game.

If you enjoy Dead Space, you will enjoy this game.

The really frustrating part of The Callisto Protocol is that it was so clearly released before it was ready. It's got a lot of new and interesting ideas, but the execution is kind of lacking. The game is mainly melee-focused survival horror, with an interesting dodge system that relies on alternating the left stick as enemies attack. It effectively trivializes one-on-one fights, but in larger groups the experience becomes pretty annoying. You fight the camera constantly. The game is technically problematic, with manual saves that don't work, poorly placed checkpoints, some framerate chugs even in performance mode, and bugged trophies. The whole experience is probably 8-12 hours your first time through and, at this moment, there isn't much reason to go back especially since cutscenes are not skippable. It's getting better with each patch, but that just reinforces the idea of waiting until the game hits bargain bins in 2023.
