C S Lewis would be proud of the excellent quality of this movie. It includes great morals, excellent acting, story line, characters and you can actually learn about good truths while enjoying a great action movie at the same time. The story is so well written; the music, characters , costumes as well as the timing carries you along to enjoy this well made movie. It sparks my interest to see the sequels. I never read the books, but the movie has peaked my interest. I am a huge "Lord of the Rings" fan & didn't realize that I would enjoy this movie as much as I did. Plus there is so much moral & spiritual depth that I was not expecting which added to a richer experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie when it first came out. I bought this when it first came out on dvd. But now that it’s out on blu-ray as well, I bought one because it comes with a dvd that my kids can play in the car while we go on a road trip. I wish they kept going with this movie series. Very good movie from a great author.

A great fantasy movie that the whole family can enjoy. The cinematography and special effects are really terrific. The battle scenes are done in such a way that they are not graphic, but believable. Loved the character development, and seemed true to CF Lewis characters. The plot was clear, and message of the story was easily discernible. Clearly a movie that is timeless and can be enjoyed for years to come.

As someone who has not read the books it was fun to watch all three Narnia movies in succession. My favorite was this first installment. Enjoyed the fine acting by the young people as well as the supporting cast. Also enjoyed special features which make the purchase worth it as well.

I bought it as a gift for some kids but it is not age appropriate for preschoolers or elementary aged children. I wanted to plant seeds about roots of mid-1900s Christian faith. Aslan is a type of messiah, the Christ. Younger kids might not understand the story line.

Bought this disc to enjoy with my great-grandchildren. Quality is excellent and it really brought back memories of watching this movie with the great-grandkids' parents, grand-parents and aunts and uncles. I had forgotten the movies so it was a real treat to see again.

For an exciting, family adventure. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone. I purchased this movie to show to my 5 year old son for the first time and he was just enthralled with everything from the story, to the characters and the music and costumes. It’s a must see for anyone.

great movie for the kids or family very entertaining children will love all the different animals the adventures the storyline how the main actors go through different things how they solve one problem then get right into another solving each problem one after the other this is a movie that will keep your kids attention i am a kid at heart that is why i liked it very great entertainment

Bestbuy had the best price I found, online or local, and I love that I can tell exactly which store has the movie in stock before I leave the house! We already own the DVD but the BluRay looks WAY better, especially since we bought a new BluRay player at Bestbuy last month!
