Bought as a gift for a family that loves the Narnia series. The cd holder was a bit squished when it arrived. Hoping the cd is not broken when they open their gift.

I've never read "The Chronicles of Narnia", which is the basis for this film. Therefore, I can't compare it to the books; how they are the same and how they differ. I binged the three films, and enjoyed the immensely. Great stories, great acting and great production. "Voyage of the Dawn Treader", proved to be an excellent finally to the three films. I wish they would do the entire series of books.

LOVE Narnia but not as good as others

I am a huge fan of C.S. Lewis and the Chronicles of Narnia. I have read the series on several occasions. I was thrilled when the movies started being released because the story is just that good. I highly recommend them. Having said that, "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" is strengthened as it is a part of an amazing series but left alone feels incomplete. If you do plan to watch it be sure to watch "the Lion, the Witch, and the wardrobe" and "Prince Caspian" first.

I have enjoyed this series of films based on CS Lewis' children's books. This is the third in the series. For purists of the books, it does depart some from the original, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was family friendly and had a good moral message while still being fun to watch. Being a bit of a purist myself, I give this 4 stars. If it had stayed closer to the book I would have given it 5 stars.

    Re-live The Magic!

This movie brings back the magic and specialness that seemed to be lacking in Narnia 2 Prince Caspian. The movie adds extra story elements not seen in the book that worked out well. The scenes with Eustace were very touching and delivered some very good messages. Aslan was done well as was all the CGI. Overall I think it was a wonderfully heartwarming and enjoyable movie.

The continuing adventures in Narnia, Lucy and Edmond are back in Narnia with their ornery cousin, facing some perilous situations at sea, but all in all ends well when Reefergee (spelling?) requests of Aslan to crossover through the waves and retire (comparable to making heaven his eternal resting place). Very good family movie.

Great Movie But PG for sure

This is a well done movie and very fun to watch. Special effects are nice, but after about 50% into the movie, the main "bad" creature is a really scary reptile/dragon, extremely large, and certainly not for younger viewers. It was totally unexpected and I do not recommend anyone under 10 or so to see this. Too bad.

The Narnia books are perennial favorites with the young, especially as they have a spiritual side that is rare. The plot to this movie departs significantly from the book, but for valid reasons, and entertainingly so. It's worth some time and money.

Chronicles of Narnia is one of my favorite book series, only topped by LOTR, and this movie series based on the book is only topped I think by the original BBC version (which if you have not seen, you should look them up). Fantastic portrayal of an amazing book by C.S. Lewis.

I really enjoy the Narnia series overall and this is my favorite movie of them all so far. The message is great and inspiring, the subtle Savior indications make for an awesome ministering tool. I feel great that I can let me children watch this when they are older.

I have the first Narnia movie and this one was on sale. I haven't seen it before but I liked the first one so much I got it. Glad I did. I'm not going to spoil the movie but let's just say you will enjoy this movie if you like the first one.

My wife and I really enjoyed watching this movie together. After reading all the books, we felt that the movie did very well sticking to the original story by C.S. Lewis. It was a great bargain from the $5 movie bin.

Another movie we picked up for the kids, but the parents ended up getting sucked into the story as well. Another great film in the series, I hope they keep it up through the entire set of books.

We bought this dvd for a movie night for my son, and he has really enjoyed it. It keeps him interested the entire time and I like it because it doesn't go to slow and it teaches some lessons.

While I enjoyed watching Voyage of the Dawn Treader, I would say this is my least favorite of the Chronicles of Narnia series. My daughter is a big fan of this one though.

This is a movie that the whole entire family can watch but what is more important is that my kids love this movie and the series. Great morals and lesson can be learned by watching this movie.

We enjoyed watching this movie after reading the book. The movie does differ from the C.S. Lewis novel, just like most books made into screenplays.

Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I loved the books when I was a kid and bought this for me (not for a child). I want to see the rest of the series.
