When I first heard about The Crew and the open-world driving experience that it was trying to bring to the table, I was beyond excited. When I found out that the playable map would encompass the entirety (albeit a condensed version) of the United States, I was ecstatic. Now, about a month into owning the game with limited seat time, I'm still pretty excited every time I sit down to play. The overwhelming scope of the game lends itself to hours of open-world exploration, driving through snowy mountain roads, barren desert highways, and crowded city streets in whatever fully-modified car you manage to get your hands on. The game design definitely doesn't lend itself to a "finish-the-main-storyline-in-a-week" sort of play style, as there are far too many interesting things to do and see off the beaten path (or highway, or dirt road, or corn field...). The multi-player experience is pretty seamless as you encounter and are able to team up with other drivers online to tackle the world's challenges together, or go it alone to carve your own path. Either way, this is definitely an exciting game and one that I plan on spending hours becoming very well acquainted with.

It's a decent racing game, more arcade like than sim. It's fun to play online but the online issues on launch were annoying. It has tons of cool cars and the map is huge. Most of the locations look like the real life counterpart.

I like all the customizing options, its a lot like the midnight club and NFS Carbon games. However I am a major NFS fan and the racing is definitely different. Game play is based on story mode and very interactive with other players, which is cool but NFS is just my cup of tea.

Huge open world map. The cars seem sluggish when starting out. They get a lil bit better after upgrades. you cant just buy upgrades tho. You have to win races to earn them. Would be funner If u could drift easier. Overall a good game.

The crew is a pretty good game, with OK graphics, and OK game play feel. The best part about the game is the environment and cars. Being able to drive "anywhere" in the US is pretty nice. It is fun to get online with some friends, and head to Laguna Seca and do a few laps for fun. Plus it takes around about an hour if you were to drive from Maine to LA. I think it needs more big cities than it has, but all in all it is a good game. It is nowhere near as great as Forza Horizon 2 though. Even though The Crew has a bigger map, the game play in Horizon 2 is so much better.

I thoroughly enjoyed and am still enjoying this F&F spinoff. Fast cars, fast...euh driving and fast dialog. Great graphics, semi-realistic driving... get an Xbox One steering wheel for the full experience. Some well placed cursing throughout a mission laden story spreading from coast to coast, made me a fan (<-- FANBOY) PS. It apparently takes 17 minutes to drive from Chicago to Las Vegas. (Okay so the map was condensed)

I haven't put in too many hours yet for this title, but I hope to do so soon. The game play is beautiful and it is really fun to just drive to new cities and explore. It feels like what Burnout Paradise was supposed to be, but Burnout Paradise fell short. If you enjoy racing games that let you explore and doesn't have a restricting linearity to it, I'd suggest giving this game a chance.

The game is a lot like an upgraded version of Need For Speed with the open world source racing. The story line is good, but goes very quickly. Although the story is very short. There is plenty to do afterwards with online play and finding hidden parts throughout the map. I give it 4/5 because of always having to have internet connection in order to play, which at times creates a major annoyance.

I love the fact that it is a racing game that has "Full Roaming" capabilities. The fact that it is the entire USA as a map is amazing. From city to dirty roads to off roading in canyons. This an awesome game. Realistic cars, both classic and exotic as well as muscle and trucks.

Best racing game I've played since NFS:U2. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the menu system is a little hard to get used to. Great choices for cars, decent driving physics, HUGE open world map, and a great story considering its a driving game. If you're into games like forza or gran Turismo, I don't recommend it. It's more like an arcade style game than a driving simulator.

I can write a whole review about the reason why I game this game a four star but I'm not. The only this I can say is that this game is very much like Test Drive Unlimited 2 but with a lil bit more kick, and I just wish that the people that made this game will continue to add more and more cars and not wind up like TDU 2 with no add on's.

Not the typical driving game, but I got this since my wife wanted a car game for the 360. The open world is pretty well done, though Detroit was noticeably missing the Joe Louis Arena among its landmarks, and the customization of the cars is pretty well done. Despite my general dislike of driving games, I have enjoyed this.

I wouldn't say this is a great game, but its definitely a good time killer. The graphics lag at times, and the game play gets repetitive, but if you are a fan of the old need for speed undergrounds from back in the day, like I am, then this game will be entertaining to you and well worth the price.

This game has great map size and decent story, however the vehicle control is not to my liking. It is too arcadey and sometimes not very responsive. I would pick up Forza 2 first (if you do not have it already) before buying this game.
