A classic Floyd recording but you need a player that plays SACD to hear the 5.1 mix. Regular stereo plays on players without SACD format.

It's a shame SACDs never really caught on. The 5.1 mix of "Dark Side of the Moon" is fantastic. It's like hearing the album for the first time.

You've never heard Dark Side of the Moon like this - guaranteed! After listening to it a million times over since the mid-80's, I heard an all new DarkSide today. If you've got the right gear (which obviously you must if you're playing SACD's), I heartily recommend this. BTW - Wish You Were Here SACD is the same way. Buy them both now if you haven't already. Now the powers that be just need to get Meddle, Animals, and the The Wall onto SACD format too!

This SACD arrived at my office and I was pleasantly surprised when I took it home and listened to it. It was like having all of the musicians on the project performing inside my residence. I invited a few friends over to listen to it and they were simply amazed. To me, it was like listening to this wonderful music for the first time......again. I also enjoyed the artwork included with the disc. A must have for SACD enthusiasts.

One of the greatest classic albums of all time, considered a benchmark in recording technology from 1973, presented here in 5.1 surround. Really impress your friends,because this will show off your hot multi-channel system and give it a workout. Highly recommended .

Many people have written great reviews about this particular CD, simply buy it and play it on a SACD player.
